I’m a big broccoli fan. So, when I saw broccolette at the grocery story, I went with it. Turns out, it’s pretty much the same thing as broccolini and it’s delicious. Especially when you roast it with garlic and put burrata on top…
1 bunch of broccolette or broccolini
2-3 tbsp olive oil
2 large cloves garlic
coarse sea salt
red pepper flakes
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Trim the ends of the broccolette. Cut them into florets of roughly the same size. Toss in olive oil and spread on a baking sheet lined with foil. Roughly slice the garlic. Top with sea salt and red pepper flakes.
Roast for about 15 minutes. The stalks should be fork tender and the florets should be a little crispy.
Top with burrata. Season it with sea salt and red pepper flakes and let it melt a little over the warm broccoli.
