2 Sweaters To Transition To Fall (including Everlane Cashmere!)
ruAn Everlane cashmere tee + a creamy pullover to wear now AND later! (Gifted but not sponsored!)
Outfit #1:
Cashmere T Shirt: c/o Everlane (This tee is SO crazy soft! It’s my first piece of Everlane cashmere and now I’m dying for a long sleeved version for later in Fall/Winter! Everlane cashmere sweaters run TTS and not too long for petite gals!) | Skirt: American Eagle (My skirt is sold out, but I love this one that’s also under $50!) | Sunglasses: Loft | Bag: c/o Everlane (I’ve been obsessed with this little bag recently. You can wear it on one shoulder or crossbody, it fits a surprising amount, and the color goes with EVERYTHING. It doesn’t have a zipper though, so just keep that in mind if you’re worried about your stuff spilling out/pickpockets! I don’t worry about it most of the time, but I wouldn’t take it sight seeing around Europe or on the train in the Loop!) | Shoes: Keds (Definitely recommend getting the leather instead of canvas if you’re worried about them getting dirty. Most dirt stains wipe right off!) | Necklace: Vrai & Oro (My everyday necklace!)
Outfit #2:
Cream Crew Neck Sweater: c/o Everlane | Shorts: Treasure & Bond (Mine are old, but the cut is actual really similar to these shorts that everyone raves about!) | Sunglasses: Loft |Bag: c/o Everlane (See the description above for more info!) | Necklace: Vrai & Oro | Sandals: Everlane (My favorite flat sandals! Also, while the sweaters and bag were gifted, I purchased these on my own and they were worth every penny. The leather is super soft and they’re the perfect neutral sandal for pretty much any outfit.)
Good morning, friends! I’m back from Sonoma and feeling a little of that post-travel hangover. You know what I mean – tired, a little puffy from the plane, a full inbox and to-do list. Luckily this quick trip was 100% worth it. It was even more beautiful than last year and we learned so many great nutrition tips and recipe ideas from the experts and growers. I can’t wait to share more very soon!
But let’s chat about this post! Despite the fact that it feels like the peak of summer outside in Chicago right now, we’ve already felt Fall in the air. It’s been especially apparent in the mornings and evenings, but even when it’s cooler than 80 degrees, we have some time before we have to bust out the coats and boots. PHEW.
Sweater #1: Everlane Cashmere
So these are two looks that you can reach for on those transitional days – when there’s a chill in the air, but you can still have bare legs! First up is this Everlane cashmere t-shirt aka the softest tee in the WORLD. Because of the fabric, it not only makes outfits cozier, but it also makes simple outfits feel a little bit more elevated. And it’s not very long, so it’s SUPER versatile for petites! It looks cute with jeans, skirts, or even over a dress (seen in this gram!).
Sweater #2: Crew Neck Pullover
Moving on to the next look! This one is what chilly Summer nights are all about for me. I love a good crew neck sweater and this one feels heavy in the best way – like a hug! The perfect thing to throw on over your tee as the sun goes down now, but it can also be paired with jeans and a big scarf when it actually gets cold outside. This one isn’t quite as soft as the Everlane cashmere, but it’s still super cozy. Big fan.
I don’t wear shorts very often, but for some weird reason, I like them best with a cozy sweater. Is that weird?? Something about that combo feels so effortless and comfortable. Plus, you can only really wear it on those very mild days… which are my absolute favorite.
