2016 Gift Guide: For The Home
So… we’ve shopped for the ladies, and I’ve shown you a fun homemade gift, which leads me right to Gifts for the HOME! Especially once the first snow falls (check!), people like to spend even more time at home – not to mention all of the holiday parties when you need to prep in the kitchen and maybe all of your guests somehow end up convening around the appetizers in – you guessed it – the kitchen! (Does this happen to anyone else at family parties??)
I personally love this category. I’m terrible at interior design, but I looove me some kitchen gadgets and pretty much anything adorable, obviously. I know I know, you were all so surprised to see a polka dot tea kettle in this roundup 😉
I also love that these gifts can work for any budget! Seriously, these 100% Cotton Tea Towels and cute little Salt + Pepper Shakers are both are under $20, way more practical than a random festive doodad, and the perfect update for any kitchen. I love that the towels are big (20×28″), super absorbent and machine washable/dry-able (without falling apart or losing color). Also, this sounds so silly, but the S+P Shakers have their grinding mechanism on TOP which is a game changer – do you ever get your pepper all over your counter when the grinder is on the bottom? Drives. Me. Crazy! Plus, they’re on Amazon, which means free shipping aka the easiest gift buying process for your Aunt/Uncle/Godmother/Godfather EVER. On the other hand, if you’re looking to spoil someone, you could get them a new set of pots and pans or a Vitamix that could turn into staples in their kitchen for years to come!
(PS. I’ll keep adding to this all month, so keep checking back for more ideas!)

I'm not too good at interior design, either – but kitchen gadgets are definitely my thing! Love that cute little polka dotted tea kettle!

I just bought my mom the Kate Spade Tea Pot for Christmas! They have had it on sale at Dillards too.
