Hey friends! We made it through this weird what-day-is-it half week! Even though I still got a ton done, everything felt a little off. I worked almost all day Tuesday when no one else was, and then I took almost all of Thursday off to look at wedding venues, and then checked out the new Studio Three in Lincoln Park yesterday… let’s just say I’ve had to do some damage control on my email inbox! Haha it’s all been fun so I’m not complaining, but I think it will be really nice to return back to a normal routine next week!
But before we do, I’m really excited about this roundup. During the month of January, get your first month for just $20.19 with $0 enrollment fee! I’ve been going to CAC Lincoln Square for the past few months, and I absolutely LOVE it. It has a really great neighborhood vibe, it’s always clean, there is a ton of equipment… I’m seriously so glad I joined! Also, in case you’re wondering, I pay these membership fees myself/no comped or sponsored situation here! (Not that my opinions would change if it was!)
Get your first month FOR FREE! Yes, you read that right! I cannot get over how awesome this promotion is – especially because so many of my favorite studios listed here are available through Classpass. If you like group fitness, this is a no brainer.
Get your first class FREE! I love their location in North Center, specifically Level 2 with Linda. In fact, I love her class so much that even though my partnership is ending with them, I’m buying a class pack just so I can continue to go to her classes 🙌🏼 Rebecca is also great if you see her on the schedule, too! I always say that these classes are perfect for anyone who is usually intimidated by fitness studios. Everyone is so nice, classes go at a slow and steady pace, and there are always modifications for everyone.
Get your first week FREE! I was just thinking about how much I miss Corepower actually. There was a time when I went almost every single day, then I did my teacher training there and actually went every single day 😂 I only lived 2 blocks away – it was so easy!! Now that I’m farther from a studio, I rarely make it there, but it’s such an awesome workout. Let me know if anyone has any questions about their classes, too – I’d be happy to help!

I was actually just messaging one of my followers about all of the Flybarre teachers that I would go to all the time when I lived in Old Town. Elena, Sarah, Glenn – they’re all AMAZING and make working out so much freaking fun. Also, their spin classes are my favorite because you can see your exact torq and RPMs, so you know when you’re slacking and need to push yourself a little more. The best!
Get an unlimited month of yoga for $100! I went here for the first time on Monday for a special NYE Hip Hop Yoga class and it was SO GOOD. As some of you might recall, I had a less than stellar experience at a studio in my new neighborhood that left me feeling really discouraged – but this class reminded me why I LOVE YOGA! It was challenging but still grounding, and the small studio has a super friendly and welcoming vibe. Get your first class FREE! Another studio from my Old Town life! 😂 I should really check out some of their other locations around the city though, because this workout is always good. Every class is mix of treadmill, running, and weights. I love it because right when you’re sick of one, it’s time to switch to the other!
Get $5 off their $39 New Client Two Pack with code LAKESHORELADY! I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again – this is the best workout in the city. Obviously that’s just my opinion, but I stand by it! My sister-in-law actually just tried it in Austin this week and I reassured her that it’s hard EVERY single class, even as you get used to it. Get your first class for $15 or One Week Unlimited for Cycle/Interval/Yoga for $35 (new students only)! If you live in Lincoln Park, you MUST check out their new location at Halsted and Fullerton. I just went yesterday to try their Torch class (OMG such a KILLER!) and it’s one of the most beautiful gyms/studios I’ve ever been to. There is a huge skylight in the lobby right when you walk in, the classrooms are even bigger than the ones in River North, and you can snag an acai bowl at Graze on your way out after class. Honestly, what could be better?! Also worth nothing: if you are self employed or have a non-traditional job, I just discovered their “Off Peak All Three” membership option. This gives you access to all classes between 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday for just $150 (regular $240). Such a great option!!!
Get your first class free! Also, a few of you mentioned January deals when I asked for suggestions, so definitely ask your location about those, too. I tried my first boxing class at Title at the end of November and was so surprised by how much I loved it! I thought it would be really intimating, but the teacher made it all so fun. The class started with a warm up (squats, jumping jacks, high knees, etc), and then moved into the boxing series. This portion went by SO fast, which makes sense because you’re thinking way more about getting the combinations right instead of how tired you are/how hard it is like normal classes! You also finish with an ab series, which allows your heart rate to calm down a little bit before you leave class. If you’re looking for something different to try, definitely check this out!
