Helloooooo 2020!!!! Not only is this the start of a new year, but also a new DECADE – which means it’s the perfect time to reflect on how far you’ve come and set goals for what you want in the future.
And one way to do just that is with my 2020 Workout & Wellness Planner! For those of you who downloaded the planner last year, it’s very similar with a few minor changes/upgrades that I hope you love! And for those of you who are brand new, let me break it down.
This whole idea started with my homemade monthly planners. I made them so I could track workouts in a place where it wasn’t mixed into everything else on my to-do list. Once I started sharing those, I was so inspired by those of you who printed/filled them out each month with me – which led to my full 2019 Workout Planner. It’s been so awesome to see you carve out time in your busy lives to do something for your physical and mental health over the past year, so it was a no-brainer that I had to make one for 2020, too!
In my 2020 Workout & Wellness Guide, you’ll find 2019 Reflections to get you started. After that, each month will have questions about fitness, self-care, and personal growth, followed by a monthly intention and a calendar where you can plan and record your workouts for the month. I explain more about how that works in the download!
The main goal is to inspire all of you to not just set resolutions, but tune in to what you need as an individual to live a healthy life and feel your best throughout the entire year – not just the first few weeks of 2020.
How to Download My 2020 Workout & Wellness Planner
Want the calendar?! DUH! As I mentioned, all you have to do is CLICK HERE and subscribe for my email list. Even if you are already subscribed, you can enter your email and first name again to get the link to download. Easy peasy.
And if you’re afraid I’m going to spam you with emails – DON’T BE! I only send emails on Sunday afternoons, and it’s one of my favorite things to write each week. Along with my most recent blog posts, I also provide an intention and quote for the week, plus what I’m reading, eating, shopping, etc. It’s really fun, I promise 😉
How To Stick To Your Health And Wellness Plan
Don’t skip the reflection questions each month.
It can be easy to go right to the calendar portion and skip the reflection questions… But they are questions to consider when assessing where you are and where you want to be. If you set goals, acknowledge obstacles, and track your progress. It’s easier to figure out a personal wellness plan that actually works for you!
Have an Accountability Partner
Ask a friend to download the planner and chat about how you’re doing each month. It can be so helpful to not only have someone to talk to, but also to motivate you to keep going!! Plus, if you both need a push to get to the gym, you can go together!
An accountability partner could also be a teacher you love or a personal trainer, too! Someone who motivates you and who you don’t want to let down if you stop showing up.
Celebrate your successes!
There are few things more motivating than success stories, so why not acknowledge your own?! Also, when you download the planner, you’ll also have access to some fun insta-story templates that you can fill out and share! (You can also share in my private Facebook group if stories are too public for ya ?Other support groups would be great, too!)
My Personal Health And Wellness Plan
And before I let you go, I thought it might be helpful to chat about my plan of action for 2020! For me, the thought of a wellness plan for an entire year is SUPER overwhelming – which is why I really like taking it month by month. Maybe you are in tip top shape in January, but you have to deal with medical problems in March? Or one month you really want to focus on physical goals, but another is all about personal/professional growth? Making short term goals allows you to shift your plan to make sense for each month. After all, health and wellness is a marathon, not a sprint!
Physical
Pay more attention to the food I eat and exercise at least 4 times a week.
Ever since joining Fit Body Bootcamp a few months ago, I’ve remembered how great it feels to get at least 4 kick-your-butt workouts a week, so I want to keep that up! Also, as I mentioned in my resolutions, I really want to do a sugar free January and get back to reading labels on any processed foods. Bottom line – I’m always trying to focus on how to feel my best vs. just how to lose weight. That’s always a better long term goal, in my opinion!
Mental
Quiet the negative self talk.
When you download the planner, you’ll see questions about self care each month. I’ve realized that this is SO helpful for my mental health. Negative self talk can feel so natural, we don’t even notice it most of the time. But what if we were more aware of it? What if we forced ourselves to list 3 things we love about ourselves every month? What would that shift?
Professional
Identify smaller goals that are actionable within 30 days.
Last year, I focused a lot more on the workout element, but personal health is about so much more than exercise. It’s also about having a strong sense of worth – and professional growth can have a lot to do with that! I find it helpful to identify smaller tasks that are geared towards achieving your bigger goals. It’s so much less overwhelming that way!

Hi there!
I have submitted my email twice trying to get the planner emailed to me.
Do you have any advice on receiving the planner if it is not coming through the emails?
