50 Styles 50 States [Chicago]

It’s no secret that Chicago is extremely special to me. It’s where I started Lake Shore Lady, where I found my confidence again, where I constantly feel inspired and… the best place for me to express my personal style! So, when Old Navy wanted me to be a part of their 50 Styles 50 States Campaign, I said yes immmmedietly!
There’s something about Chicago style that really resonates with me. This is a big, bad, beautiful city and the women in it are just as stylish as the ones on the east and west coasts. At the same time, we also definitely have some of that midwest sensibility – comfort and practicality are important. We walk around the city through all four seasons, after all!
As we head into fall, transitional pieces are key. Temperatures jump from the 60s to 80s and back all September, so easy swing dresses and booties are must haves here in Chicago. Luckily, Old Navy has tons of great pieces at incredible prices.
PS. I’ll be wearing this jacket over pretty much everything ALL fall. Just you wait 🙂

I thought the weather was crazy in Kansas City, but Chicago takes the cake. I've been caught in the rain too many times to count here! You look gorgeous in these photos 🙂 Hope to see you soon!
