American Giant Clothing Review
My American Giant clothing review + a discount code!
Happy Monday, friends! I am so pumped to share this post with you because I’ve gotten a bunch of requests for high quality and comfortable basics recently – and that’s what American Giant does best!
American Giant is a new-to-me clothing company that makes all of their products right here in the United States, thanks to new technologies and smaller supply chains. Their goal is to make a handful of classic and durable items that you can wear everyday for years to come. Trends are fun, but it always feels so good to invest in clothing that you know you’ll have for a long time, right?
And while they don’t have a petite section, they do carry their signature No-BS pant in petite (wearing below), and I found their other styles to be very petite-friendly. Read about my favorites below!

American Giant Clothing Review
The No-BS Pant
After staying indoors for the better part of a year, I think we’ve all gained a new appreciation for comfortable pants – and the No-BS Pant is so comfortable. In fact, they tested it on 65 women through 4 rounds of prototyping to get the perfect design that looks like a pant, but feels like a legging.
For me, the main thing that sets these apart from other leggings is the fabric. They developed a custom double knit ponte with 4-way stretch to hold you in and move with you without sagging. It’s also matte and opaque (not see through at all!) and doesn’t pill or fade in the wash.
And they come in petite!!!! No need to bunch, tuck, or bring them to a tailor. The petite inseam is 24″, which is literally perfect for my 5’2″ self. Based on the sizing chart I got a size 4 and they fit great – but they definitely have more stretch than I was anticipating, so I probably would have been fine in a 2, too.
The No-BS Kick Flare
If you’re heading back to the office and want a pant that looks a little bit more professional, they used the same fabric and design elements to make a No-BS Kick Flare – so you can look like you’re wearing a sleek pair of pants, while feeling as comfortable as ever.
These don’t come in petite, but the regular inseam (24″) is great for me! It also comes in tall (30″ inseam) for those who are taller!
Merino Wool Crew Sweater
Looking for a new cozy sweater? I an already tell that I’m going to be wearing this Merino Wool Crew Sweater all winter, every winter for a long time. I got a size small and it’s definitely oversized, but I love it that way. It’s made from a blend of Merino wool and cotton, which can be machine washed on delicate without shrinkage! Wooo! There’s also a v-neck version if you prefer that neckline.
Premium Slub Crew T
I find that white tees can be hard to shop for, but their Premium Slub Crew T might be my new favorite. It’s made with a custom premium slub fabric that is substantial and not see through at all. I got an XS and it’s a little long on me, but it’s perfect once I do a little half tuck. I am definitely going to order this in more colors!
Sherpa Full Zip
This isn’t marketed specifically for petites, but OMG this sherpa jacket is PERFECT for petites!!! I often think sherpa jackets make me look a little frumpy, but I got this one in an XS and it hits right at the top of my hips. That, along with the gorgeous and vibrant color, and I feel comfy and put together when I throw this on. The Polartec Hi-Loft fleece is ultra soft, and the pockets have brushed polyester lining to keep your hands warm when the temperatures dip down low. BIG fan.
