Bathroom Drawer Organization Ideas
Happy Monday, friends! It was super gloomy here in Chicago today, but I kind of didn’t mind it. We have been go-g0-going so much recently with the move, that it felt good to have an excuse to stay in comfy clothes and get work done at home. And the first thing on my to do list was this post all about bathroom drawer organization ideas!
Before we dive in, I just want to preface that I am aware that I have a lot of products ? Please keep in mind that testing out makeup, skincare, and haircare products is a part of my job! Very often, I will purchase something, only to have a brand send me something very similar a week later. And if a brand is generous enough to send me something, I want to be sure to at least test it out. If it doesn’t work for me personally, I’ll give it to friends and family – but if it does work for me, I’ll hold on to it until I can use it. Just wanted to clarify that before we dive in!
Bathroom Drawer Organization Ideas
As soon as I saw our new bathroom, I was in loooove. Not only does it have ample space under each sink, but it also has 4 drawers next to the sinks. Since Adam only needed room under his sink + a little bit in the linen closet, he told me I could have all 4 drawers… and I OBVIOUSLY didn’t fight that at all. Since I had more than enough room to work with, and the drawers are in excellent condition, the last thing I wanted to do was dump everything in and make a mess. I also know how easy it is to stain drawers with dirty brushes, leaky makeup, or a broken powder blush. I wanted something to help me get and stay organized, as well as something I can easily wipe clean if a leak does happen. So, the drawer organizer search began!
I’m blaming The Home Edit for the lack of stock at The Container Store, but that’s okay, because I had a lot of luck at Bed Bath & Beyond! For this bathroom and linen closet, I ended up with 3 of these expandable drawer organizers, this small drawer organizer, this cabinet bin, and this drawer bin.
Just be sure to measure before you purchase – I cannot stress this enough! There are a lot of great options but they might not fit in your drawers. I got frustrated with this part and wondered why I couldn’t just be on the Netflix show with a million options to choose from right in my home, but, alas… I made it work 😉
Top Drawer Organization
I knew I wanted the majority of my essentials in the top drawer, but I also wanted to make sure I could keep it really nice and clean. This makeup organizer is perfect for my glasses and contact case, brushes/sponge, basic makeup, and extra contacts. I probably could have fit more than this small bin next to it, but this setup works really well since I’m not worried about my deodorant or CBD making a mess in the drawer!
The only tricky part of organizing this drawer was the fact that not everything I wanted in the top drawer fit in these sections. But honestly, who cares if toothpaste is in the 2nd drawer vs. the first one, right?

Second drawer organization:
This drawer is for essentials that didn’t fit in any of the sections in the top drawer… along with some other products that I love, but might not need every day. Obviously, toothpaste and floss is important, and it’s nice to have extra razors easily accessible. Other than that, I put in some of my favorite skincare products, extra makeup products if I’m getting really dolled up, and a few other things I use somewhat often.

Deep Drawer Organization
Alright, this drawer is definitely lacking in organization… but I thought I’d share anyway! This drawer is a lot deeper than the first two, which means that it’s the perfect spot for contact solution, taller skincare products, and supplements. I also added my reusable makeup remover pads and hair ties to this drawer, too. I might pick up some bins to make it look a little bit more streamlined, but it works just fine for now!
Favorite products in this drawer:
- Beautycounter Hydrating Essence
- Beautycounter TripeptideRadiance Serum
- Olay Regenerist Whip
- Advanced Clinicals Tea Tree Gel Mask
- Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops
- Augustinus Bader Rich Cream (I treated myself to this splurge but haven’t said anything yet because I haven’t decided if it’s worth the price. If money was no object, I would 1000% shout about it – but it’s definitely pricey!)
- Reusable Makeup Remover Pads
- Beautycounter Cleansing Balm
- Juice Plus+
- Vitamin D
- New Chapter Probiotic
Bottom Drawer Organization
This is another one that I could add a bin to – but for now, I’m keeping it simple with brushes, hair tools, and backup toilet paper!

Under The Sink Organization
In all honesty, I don’t have a great track record with under the sink storage. It was usually where I put anything and everything I didn’t know what to do with… and then we didn’t even have under the sink storage in our last place. But this place is different and it will be clean! I used the same makeup organizer as the other drawers, except this time I was able to expand it. It transformed a big messy bag into a clear layout of backup products. Woo!
Favorite products under the sink:
- All of my Advanced Clinicals serums/oils (I like them all in one place!)
- Supergoop! Defense Refresh
- Supergoop! Play Lotion
- Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen
- Megababe Thigh Rescue (Truly the best summer product ?)
- Olaplex Hair Mask
- Magnetic Lashes
- Living Proof Dry Shampoo
- bareMinerals Lipsticks
- Advanced Clinicals Hemp Seed Oil Lotion
- Equilibria Mindful Mineral Soak
Medicine Organization
Adam and I always knew where our first aid kit was… but the rest of the band aids and medicine? Umm they’re somewhere?! Needless to say, we needed a place where we could put bottles of Advil and all 6 tubes of Neosporin so we never buy another one again ? This little drawer organizer works perfectly in our linen closet!
Travel Organization
On a similar note, travel sized products were in various places between both bathrooms in our old place. I gathered both of our “stock” and also added any sample sized products that work for travel and put them all in this bin. Easy access for whenever we start traveling again!
