Best Moments of 2015
As this year comes to a close, there are tons of recaps and lists of best/worst moments – so obviously I’ve been reflecting on my own year. I created my #2015BestNine and I love the ones that you guys liked the most – I was also totally blown away by the fact that I had over 129,000 likes this year! And this pink twirly shot got over 800 likes and 90 comments! Damn guys. You’re too nice 🙂
But beyond that list, there were so many special moments – it’s been over a year of filming with the lovely team of Learn to Cook, I hosted a lifestyle segment on Fox News, I worked with brands like Coach, Sorel and Rebecca Minkoff (and met Rebecca!), I took a trip to Dublin and France (#LSLtravels!), I taught my first yoga class (which made me want to get certified and teach for real), I was featured on The Everygirl, I started contributing to Wandeleur – plus countless amounts of events, dinners and adventures… and since some of these moments may not have made it here to the blog, I thought I’d acknowledge them now!
1st Row: My favorite backless dress (full blog post); my birthday trip to NYC; that time we saw the Stanley Cup and ALL the players; wine on a boat with the Chicago skyline – not bad; yoga at the Lincoln Park Zoo; my parent’s sweet pup, Lily in the city!
2nd Row: The cutest pink wall ever; Cinco de Mayo means TEQUILA; when I reached 10,000 followers on Instagram!; the Windy City Smoke Out was the surprise festival of the year (so fun!); the beginning of Lollapalooza; and how I felt after that awesome weekend.
3rd Row: The very beginning of my Europe trip; on the beach in Cannes; Temple Bar at night; not wanting to leave the South of France ever; my ensemble for an insane meal at Spiaggia; the view as we pulled away on my Odyssey Brunch Cruise.
4th Row: The best sign at Food & Wine; when you walk to an event and see this; that time I was on Good Day Chicago! (watch here); the most insane sushi dinner at NoMi Garden; after teaching my first yoga class; fall colors in Old Town.
5th Row: An outfit to one of many dinner events in 2015; this city tho; the Playboy Halloween Party at Soho House; a special dinner with The Everygirl and Kendall Jackson (full post); just Chicago; gotta stay Cozy AF when it’s winter (sweatshirt also seen here).
6th Row: Wine, bread and cheese when we landed in France; celebrating another year as a proud WCBC member; a breakfast pizza made for hangovers; the insanely gorgeous Restoration Hardware; because I know when those sleigh bells ring; and the most festive Christmas tree.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping make this year as special as it was. I owe so much of my success to each and every one of you. Have a happy and safe New Years – see you in 2016!!
