It’s here! It’s here! This post has been on my list ever since we got our bike, and I’m so glad that it’s finally ready to share… the Best Peloton Theme Rides!
If you search through every class in Peloton’s “theme” section, you’ll see that the list is overwhelming. They have endless amounts of general themes like pop, rock, 90’s hip hop, 2000’s hits, etc… but there’s no way to filter down to the really specific ones. Those general Peloton rides are super fun (especially this 2000’s ride! Such a good playlist!), but for this post, I wanted to focus on linking to specific rides that can be hard to find, from Britney Spears to musical theatre to Lizzo!
This post has all of the theme classes I’ve personally taken, along with a list of all of the other theme classes I discovered through googling, Reddit threads, random Peloton blogs… lots of internet research ? I know this might not be a complete list, so if I missed any of your favorites, please comment on this post to let me know and I’ll update it ASAP!
Also, if you don’t have a bike, the Peloton app also has themed classes for runs, yoga, barre, strength, and more. You definitely don’t need to have a Peloton bike to participate. Although, if you’ve been wanting a bike at a lower price point, you can read all about my under $500 option here!
Best Peloton Theme Rides
This is HANDS DOWN the best Peloton class I’ve ever taken. Alex and Tunde are so electric, 30 minutes is over before you know it. It is a perfect class – great teachers, incredible playlist, and so much FUN! (Recorded 11/9/20)
If you are a Hamilton fan, you must take this class with Robin Arzon! It’s 30 minutes, and it has all of your favorite songs from your favorite musical. The ride is more about endurance than HIIT or Tabata, but the music helps it go by quickly. (Recorded 10/14/20)
This 30 minute class with Ally Love is SO fun! She plays all the classics, from I’m Every Woman to I Wanna Dance With Somebody to How Will I Know. All with big fabulous hair! (Recorded 7/1/20)
The only thing that could make a Britney Spears class better is Cody Rigsby’s commentary and excitement ? This 30 minute class is nonstop fun – you’ll forget you’re even working out! (Recorded 7/15/20)
If you need more Beyonce after taking Alex and Tunde’s class, Ally Love’s 30 minute Beyonce ride is also a blast! (Recorded 11/13/20)
This 30 minute ride with Ally Love is TOUGH, but the killer playlist makes it go by really fast! (Recorded 4/28/21)
If you’re a Belieber, you MUST take this ride! While Olivia missed a few of my favorite Bieber bangers, this playlist is super fun – and she bring so much great energy. to the ride! (Recorded 4/7/21)
Emma Lovewell has a lot of great 90’s rides, but she really went all out for Women’s History Month. This playlist is pretty epic, especially if you were born in the 90’s. Get ready for 30 minutes of nostalgia and fun! (Recorded 3/18/21)
Even if you think you’re not a huge Nicki Minaj fan, this ride will make you realize how fun her songs are to groove to! I’m pretty sure I’ve had Super Bass stuck in my head ever since ? This class is 30 minutes and taught my Ally Love. (Recorded 12/9/20)
This is one of the better Broadway rides in the app. It is 30 minutes long, and Sam Yo picks a great mix of songs people know… and songs that nerds like me can get excited about! I mean, it starts with You Can’t Stop The Beat from Hairspray. YES PLEASE! (Recorded 6/26/20)
Need a pick me up to help you feel like the confident badass you are?! Take this class!! The combination of Lizzo’s empowering songs with Robin’s encouragement is the best. So. Much. Fun. (Recorded 8/2/19)
If you are feeling sad or angry or discouraged, take this ride with Tunde. She recorded it shortly after George Floyd’s death and it is incredibly powerful and moving. She includes quotes about racism from fellow Peloton instructors that will hit you right in the heart. Commit to 30 minutes one day and take this class. It’s so worth it. (Recorded 6/3/20)
This two-for-one ride with Tunde and Alex, and I just love them both SO MUCH. They played a lot of fun throwbacks like Hypnotize, Bad Boy For Life, Mo Money Mo Problems, and so many more. Plus their dancing and singing along kept me motivated through the whole ride… and I don’t take 45 minute classes very often so that’s a win! (Recorded 2/27/21)
It is impossible not to sing along while taking this 30 minute ride with Robin. A million dreams are keeping me awake! THIS IS ME! Ohhhhh ohhhh! If you know the music, you know what I’m talking about ? (Recorded 11/16/18)
I just took this 30 minute ride with Cody this morning and it was SO FUN! He picked all the best songs, and it was a great mix of speed intervals and climbs. (Recorded 1/16/20)
After finally watching Rocketman, I thought this ride might be fun – and it was even better than I expected! For some reason, I assumed Elton John music might not be the best ride to, but the songs worked perfectly. 45 minutes went by so fast and I’d definitely take it again! (Recorded 12/1/18)
This 15 minute ride with Emma Lovewell definitely isn’t the hardest workout ever… but it has so many great songs on it!!! Literally the perfect feel good pick-me-up when you don’t have time to work out but you still need some quick movement. (Recorded 6/16/20)
Anyone else LOVE The Last Dance documentary about the Bulls?! After the last episode, Alex Toussaint did a 30 minute ride with efforts representing each of the Bull’s championships. (Recorded 5/16/20)
Let’s get LOUD! This 30 minute class is taught by both Robin Arzon and Jess King – and since it was recorded before the pandemic, it also has a full class in studio. SO MUCH ENERGY! If you need help getting motivated, this ride is such a great choice! (Recorded 10/15/19)
As soon as I saw a Megan Thee Stallion themed ride was available, I knew that I needed to take it. Her music is literally perfect for cycling because it just makes you want to dance! I also liked that Kendall snuck an arms section into this class. I didn’t even realize until she told us to grab our weights – but I liked it a lot! (Recorded 3/4/21)
I have to admit I didn’t love this ride as much as I wanted to… I feel like she missed some of my favorite songs. But if you’re a fan of The Weeknd, it’s still worth adding this 30 minute class to your list. (Recorded 8/26/20)
This 20 minute ride is another great one for musical theatre nerds. Hannah Marie Corbin plays songs from The Last 5 Years, Aida, Dear Even Hansen, and more. So fun! (Recorded 7/14/20)

How To Search For A Particular Ride on Peloton
There are a few ways to search for a ride, both on the actual bike or just in the app. If you have an actual Peloton, you can click Classes and then enter the theme keyword into the search bar. I have heard that this can show more results than you want, but it’s a good start at least.
If you are an app user like me, select Cycle classes, then Filter, then Class Type. Click Theme, and then scroll through the options. If you know who taught the class, filter the results to only show their classes, too.
If neither of those work for you, here is the one completely foolproof way to find the best Peloton theme rides both on the bike AND the app, without scrolling forever!
Click on the link for the ride you want to take in this post.
When the new window pops up, click the bookmark icon on the top right of the frame.
When you are on your bike or in the app next, click classes and then filter.
Tap the “Bookmarked” icon on the top of the screen.
Find the class you just saved, press play, and ride!
