Energy Burst with Noosa!
Getting through the work week can be tough no matter what, especially after a bachelorette weekend and Lollapalooza… so today I’m talkin about 2 things that help me get through long days in a good mood!
The first is good food.
This seems super obvious, but getting through a work day requires energizing choices… not the kind that make you want to take a nap after (haha we’ve all been there, right?). Luckily, noosa yoghurt has an amazing assortment of flavors AND it even comes with a lid, so you can snack on some of it, seal it up, and continue snacking later! As someone who works from home, that little detail is my JAM.
Never heard of noosa? It’s a super thick yoghurt made in small batches on a family farm in Colorado. They use wholesome ingredients: all-natural whole milk, fresh fruit purees, and wildflower honey.
So now for a confession: I really don’t like to eat yogurt plain. I’m such a texture girl that I need something to crunch on to make a normal tub of yogurt more interesting. And that’s exactly why I’ve got my favorite toppings!!
Right now, I’m loving:
quartered strawberries
raw pistachios
puffed rice cereal
cinnamon
The blueberries in the noosa combined with my fresh strawberries are the perfect amount of sweetness. I’ve also noticed how much sugar is in granola, so I’ve been switching to a puffed rice style cereal instead for the crunch I like. And then I added pistachios and cinnamon because… why not?! Yum!
The second thing that gets me through a long day is a killer playlist. The past few days, I’ve been wanting to listen to the songs I heard all weekend, so this particular playlist is definitely heavily influenced by that. That being said, I’ve realized that if I listen to music that’s too sleepy or melancholy, it feeds into my desire to close my computer and jump in bed… whereas if I listen to upbeat jams that get me excited then my energy stays up and I can get through the day without looking at the clock too much. Big win, right?!

Also, what did we all do before Spotify?!

I love adding cereal to my Noosa! I usually have a box of fruit & yogurt special K that I keep at work for my yogurt (usually noosa, it just tastes so much better!)
Also, love the playlist! It'll hopefully give me a boost of energy needed on this hot Chicago afternoon (combined with a large iced coffee of course!)
