But First Coffee
Christmas isn’t always relaxing. For as long as I can remember, we would head over to the East Coast and bop between New York and New Jersey to see our extended family. While it’s always a ton of fun (because my family is awesome), it’s usually a little overwhelming – which is why I totally savor that little bit of time on Christmas morning when you can sit by the tree in your pjs with a cup of coffee. Does anyone else feel this way? There’s something about the calm before (or in the middle haha) of the storm that makes you appreciate everything you’ve got.
I’m heading out there again tomorrow and I’m SO excited to see everyone! But yes, I will be sneaking a little relaxation time next to my Nana on Friday morning – probably definitely with a classic movie or Christmas music on 🙂
Ps. if you’re traveling and could use a Podcast to keep you company, I’m on SoulFeed this week! It’s all about blogging and you can download the free episode from iTunes – or just listen to it right here! Hope you like it!
Big thanks to Iron & Honey for these photos!
