Cannes, France | LSL Travels
For the next LSL Travels post, I’m taking to you Cannes! Even though we didn’t see any celebs, I now totally understand why they all love going there.
We had heard that the beaches in Nice were really rocky, but the beaches in Cannes were sandy and beautiful, so we planned accordingly. I’m so glad we knew this piece of information beforehand, because the streets were more fun to stroll around in Nice… but the beaches in Cannes were colorful and lively and stunnnnning.
Even though the Mediterranean Sea was gorgeous and the perfect temperature, it was still super hot in the sun. So, we quickly decided to find an open restaurant close to the water, where we could have mid-afternoon drinks, mussels and fries.
Our waiter liked us so much was so nice, he even brought us limoncello shots when we were done! Don’t mind if we do!
It had cooled off a bit by then, so back to the beach we went!!
I couldn’t get over how vibrant this place is – full of beautiful tan french natives, plenty of tourists, and tons of cheeky bikinis 😉
Next time maybe I’ll stay in a hotel right on the beach? Ok cool, whatever.
Once we had enough sun, we took our time walking back to the cars so we could soak in more of the city.
A ode to cinema in the form of a huge mural. Love love love.
But really, how gorgeous is that sparkling water?! Breathtaking.
