Chicago Restaurants Offering Special Holiday Menus
Since I listened to your requests for a roundup of COVID Safe Holiday Activities in Chicago, I thought it would be a good idea to also listen to your requests for a roundup of Chicago Restaurants Offering Special Holiday Menus! Honestly, my mind has been so preoccupied with creating recipes for you guys that this topic didn’t even cross my mind, so I’m so glad a bunch of you spoke up! Cooking on holidays can be really overwhelming, so if you don’t want to do it without the payoff of a party, why not support a Chicago restaurant instead? They need us more than ever, and some of these menus look seriously drool-worthy.
I know that there are a million restaurants to order from next week, but I tried to focus on the ones with special holiday menus just for Hanukkah, Christmas, or New Year’s Eve. If I left any out, leave a comment on this post so everyone else can see additional suggestions!
Chicago Restaurants Offering Special Holiday Menus
Aba
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the whole city – and their Christmas menu looks AMAZING. For $48.95 per person, you’ll get their wild mushroom hummus, stracciatella with persimmon, grilled chicken kebabs, short ribs, crispy brussel sprouts, creme brulee pie, and MORE. You can also order cocktail kits and any additional sides you might want.
Alinea
Alinea meals are never cheap, but this is a more affordable way to celebrate with the highly acclaimed restaurant. It’s also nice that they have pickups in the North Shore and Western suburbs, as well as a New Years Menu, too!
Baker Miller
While Baker Miller doesn’t have a full dinner option, you can pre-order a Charcuterie Platter, one of their many festive pies, take and bake cinnamon rolls, and more!
Bang Bang Pie
Like Baker Miller, Bang Bang doesn’t have a full dinner option – but you can preorder their special holiday pies! Gimme that Cranberry Streusel Pie, please!
Beatrix
Beatrix is another favorite of mine that I miss… and they currently have Hanukkah Dinner To Go, Christmas Eve Dinner To Go, a cookie decorating kit, a New Year’s Dinner To Go, and MORE!
Blackwood BBQ
Craving barbecue this Christmas? Blackwood has you covered!
Boka
Boka has a Christmas Dinner Kit with instructions for preparing proteins and reheating sides, as well as Hanukkah At Home and New Year’s Eve At Home options!
Gather
While Gather doesn’t have a menu specifically for Christmas, they have family style dinners that you can pre-order for different nights of the week that would be perfect for the holidays.
Gene & Georgetti
Want to pretend you’re at a steakhouse this year? Gene & Georgetti’s Christmas menu doesn’t mess around!
Madison & Rayne
Madison & Rayne is a meal kit delivery company based in Chicago, and they have a Holiday Short Rib Dinner and a Holiday Braised Chicken Dinner available!
Monteverde
This highly acclaimed Italian spot is offering Holiday Meal Kits For 4, as well as Bake At Home Lasagna!
Pescatore Palace
Pescatore Palace in Franklin Park has a super impressive Holiday Takeout Menu this year! They have cold appetizers, hot appetizers, so many classic entrees, and complimentary focaccia with every order!
Prime and Provisions
Craving beef this holiday? They have Hanukkah To Go and Christmas To Go meals that both look decadent!
Shaw’s Crab House
Craving seafood instead? Shaw’s is offering seafood platters with their amazing stone crab claws as well as an amazing Christmas meal!
Summer House Santa Monica
Not only is Summer House offering a Christmas Eve Dinner To Go, but they also have a Holiday Cookie Decorating Kit!
The Bristol
The Bristol has a TON of options! They have a 5 Course Prix Fixe pickup, Holiday B@Home pickup, December Booze Boxes, New Year’s Even 7 Course Prix Fix pickup, and more! They even have New Year’s Eve private Snow Globes if you want to go somewhere in person!
The Warbler
I’m not sure if The Warbler is still doing their Supper Club deals on holidays – but even if they aren’t, their menu is made for celebrations, especially now that you can get their cocktails to go, too! Everything on their menu is perfection, and their Purple Martin cocktail is our favorite!
Whole Foods
When in doubt, let Whole Foods cook for you! You can get a turkey dinner, prime rib dinner, ham dinner, or even a vegan dinner!

Another GREAT Chicago Restaurant offering up a Holiday Menu is BarTucci Chicago!
They are doing a traditional Italian Christmas Eve – Feast of Seven Fishes for $55 per-person. Comes with so much fish ?!
All their pasta and sauce is homemade in-house and meats & breads are locally sourced.
This is a great authentic-Italian restaurant and small business to support as they are so much more than a restaurant; the owner, Gino Bartucci has the best heart. Supporting his small business means supporting Chicago. Since Covid he has donated over 17,000 meals to the cities frontline workers and less fortunate citizens.
Highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for an easy holiday meal, looking to support small business, and do good!
