Closet Additions 5.22.20
Alright friends, let’s chat about new spring clothes! After polling you over on my stories, I was so surprised that so many of you wanted to see the latest additions to my wardrobe. On one hand, I know not many people are shopping, but on the other hand, I totally get that it’s nice to have a distraction! Plus you know I’m all about the practical clothes right now. No crazy “going out” outfits happening over here right now ? Here are my favorites…
Closet Additions 5.22.20
Blouse: Yumi Kim (On sale and GORGEOUS! Her blouses tend to run a little big, so I bought my usual XS. She’s also having a sale on her website, too! Just use code: MEM30) | White Jeans: c/o Everlane (Read more below, but overall I am SO IMPRESSED. I got my usual denim size, 26, and they fit great. They also have a lot of stretch, which is nice!) | Mules: c/o Everlane (These are made out of the same material the black booties I was in love with this past Fall/Winter. It feels like you’re wearing a sweater on your feet in the best possible way. So crazy comfortable.)
When I post my try on stories, this won’t be first outfit – but I wanted to start with it in the post because THESE WHITE JEANS ARE AMAZING. I used to spend so much more money on designer white jeans because I thought they were the only ones that fit me and were somewhat flattering. All of the cheaper ones gapped at the waist, or were see through, or weren’t comfortable, or made me look even shorter than I am! But these… these are only $68 (!!!) and perfect. They even come in an ankle length so I don’t have to shorten them. WIN WIN WIN.
Also, this cute tee is back in stock and on sale!!! I love the plants on it – such an adorable twist on a basic. Runs true to size.
Shirt: old from Abercrombie | Pants: Lou & Grey (50% off with code FRIEND)
This shirt is old, but these pants are a quarantine purchase that I’m SO glad I made. Are they they most fashionable pants ever? Nope. Are they the most comfortable? YUP! I got a size small and they’re a little too big, but you can tie them at the waist so they don’t slide down. They’re crazy lightweight and feel like sweatpants… but a little more polished 😉
Headband: Ann Taylor (on sale!) | Top: c/o Everlane (Love the sleeves and linen material. Runs true to size! Last seen on me here.) | Jeans: Everlane (These are more lightweight than their other styles, but they definitely run smaller/have less stretch. Just something to keep in mind if you’re between sizes!) | Sandals: c/o Everlane (LOVE THESE. I feel like Birkenstocks look super weird on me, so these are a great comfy alternative!)
These are called their “summer jean” because they’re a little bit more lightweight than their other jeans. I love the gray wash and straight leg, but they definitely run smaller/have less stretch than their other styles. If you’re in between sizes and prefer a slouchier fit, I’d size up. Also, if you also feel like Birkenstocks don’t suit you, but you want a comfortable sandal – these are a GREAT alternative.
I looove them.
This dress isn’t new (last seen here!), but I wanted to show it to you again because it’s 60% off with code SUMMER! I’m wearing a petite XS and it fits perfectly. If you’re around 5’2″ like me, I can’t recommend it enough!
This dress isn’t quite as perfect since it wasn’t made for petites… but I still think it’s adorable. I’m wearing a size XS and it fits great besides the length. I’m excited to get it shortened to just below the last button!

And I didn’t include another try on story for this jumpsuit because you’ve seen it a few times, I wanted to include it. I love that it’s both fun and comfy – and it’s 50% off with code FRIEND! I got the petite small and I’ve already worn it like 10 times since I got it ?
