Easy Christmas Gifts for Coworkers, Secret Santa, and more for Under $50
While it’s really nice to spoil your loved ones from time to time, I think the majority of us are also watching our budgets around this time of year. So everything in this guide is under $50! Last year, this post was really focused on coworkers, Secret Santas, teachers, etc – but I think these goodies could work for so many different people in your life this year! Also, I keep getting requests for small businesses, especially based in Chicago, woman owned, and/or BIPOC owned – so I’ve been calling these out throughout my gift guides for you. Hope that’s helpful!
Absorbant Coasters
It seems funny to say that $14 coasters were one of my favorite purchases of 2021… but it’s TRUE! These absorbant coasters look far more expensive than they are, and like the name would suggest, they absorb any condensation that comes off of your drink. No more puddles or drips anywhere! This would be great for coworkers, teachers, Aunts/Uncles, Secret Santa, and more.
Kitchen Accessories
If you’re shopping for anyone who loves to cook, I love gifting useful kitchen accessories. These tiny bowls have become a fast favorite for me because I can chop/measure ingredients out first, put them in these cute bowls, and then cooking is so easy! They’re also on sale for just $25 for a set of 4 or $45 for a set of 8! And while you’re shopping at Our Place, our favorite drinking glasses are also on sale!! They are sustainably made, absolutely beautiful, and stackable – so they save room in your cabinets. They’re seriously the best.
Also, if you’re getting someone a salt cellar, don’t forget to also get them some flaky Maldon Salt to go with it!
Advanced Clinicals Skincare Products
For the coffee lover
Let’s be honest, a Nespresso machine is a nice gift – but you’re not going to get one of those for every person on your list. Luckily, there are a bunch of other fun coffee related gifts! I personally own this coffee canister and I love that it has a measuring spoon plus it’s cute enough to sit out on our countertop at all times. I also feel like it’s time for me to get a coffee grinder – and even though there are a lot of really expensive options out there, this one has great reviews and it’s only 20 bucks! And of course, this mug is a no brainer for the You’ve Got Mail fans in your life/you can’t go wrong with a reusable coffee cup!
Cozy Gifts
When in doubt, go cozy. My friend Ali just launched a whole collection of Mat Hatter beanies at her Chicago-based shop that would make a great gift for both men and women. They come in a few different styles and tons of colors – and all of them are under $35. I also own and love these $25 slippers and this $40 blanket was a bestseller last year!
For the dog parents
Believe me when I say this – do not underestimate how much a dog parent will use a fanny pack 😂 When I got mine, I had no idea how much I would love it. It’s the perfect size for your phone/keys/earbuds, so you don’t have to worry about stuffing those things in your pockets. If they already have one of those, I just discovered this subtle Dog Mom hat and it is *chefs kiss*. Or if you want to get them something a little less subtle, find the cutest picture of their pup and get them a custom mug!
Flippy
When I asked you guys what is the best gift you’ve given this year, someone told me about Flippy… and wow, this is genius. Seriously, if you know anyone who loves fiddling around on their iPad for hours, this is the best gift – and it’s only $30!
Personalized Ornaments
A follower of mine told me about her family’s company, Tis The Season Ornaments, last year and their ornament are SO special! They have a lot of fun options, and I especially love their engagement/wedding and baby’s 1st Christmas sections. She also generously offered a discount code for 20% off any order $50+ with code LSL21! Just be sure to order before December 5th so you get it on time.
