3 Easy Cracker Toppings for a Fuss-Free Galentine’s Day!
Happy almost Galentine’s Day, ladies!! If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I love tomorrow’s holiday. But if you’re new and don’t know what Galentine’s Day is… watch Parks & Rec!! Just kidding! Well, kind of ? Basically, Amy Poehler’s character decides that there should be a day dedicated to your best gals – and I whole heartedly agree with her!
“February 14th, Valentine’s Day, is about romance. But February 13th, Galentine’s Day, is about celebrating lady friends. It’s wonderful and it should be a national holiday.”
-Leslie Knope
It’s funny, this topic actually came up in the Lake Shore Lady Community Group on Facebook this week – and it didn’t come from me! She asked “What are some of the ways you treat yourself and remind you of your worth?” I immediately jumped into the convo and told her about my favorite Shauna Niequist passage that struck me so much when I was single, and still does even now that I’m in a relationship. But I also loved that other people commented with fun ideas! This was my favorite: get together with your close friends and exchange letters about why you love having each person in your life. So sweet! Another member said that Valentine’s Day is about LOVE in all forms – and that includes self love and friendship. How right is she?!
So, now that I’ve convinced you that this week isn’t all about mushy couples, text your girlfriends and invite them over tomorrow! Then, on your way home from work, swing by the grocery store for a few ingredients – and before you know it, you’ve got a little Galentine’s Day Party on your hands!
I know I always want to have something to offer my friends when they come over, but you don’t always have the time to make anything fancy! So here’s where I save the day – these fuss free easy cracker toppings can be put together in a matter of minutes. AND there’s barely any clean up! A girl’s night dream!
Before I get to the toppings, I just have to call out these amazing crackers by Crunchmaster. I definitely have a bit of a snacking addition, which is why I pay very close attention to which ones I bring into my kitchen. These crackers are made with non-GMO California grown rice, sesame seeds, quinoa, flax seeds and other natural ingredients. They’re also gluten free and they never use artificial flavors. Oh, and yes, they’re super crunchy ? Just how I like my crackers!
Now for the toppings! I really wanted to think about simple but crave-able flavor combos. Plus, sticking with 2 ingredients per topping keeps your trip to the grocery store quick – and your prep even quicker!
And obviously my mind went for Italian flavors… shocker, right?!
While I’m sure your’e not shocked to see mozzarella and tomatoes or pesto and artichokes, you might not have expected nutella to make an appearance. But this week is all about chocolate, so how could I not have a sweet option?! Plus, if you’re a fan of sweet & salty together, you’ll live the nutella and strawberry with a hint of salt and crunch from the cracker. So good!
3 Fuss Free Easy Cracker Toppings:
Pesto (store bought or homemade) with marinated artichoke hearts on Crunchmaster Multi-Grain Sea Salt Crackers.
Fresh mozzarella with tomatoes on Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Rosemary & Olive Oil Crackers.
Nutella and Strawberries on Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Original Crackers.
Also, you’ll see my book is open to the passage by Shauna Niequist that I mentioned earlier in this post. I think everyone could benefit from hearing “you are significant with or without a significant other” this week – whether they’re in a relationship or not! I’ll post the whole passage on my instagram story this week, so make sure you’re following along. You’re also welcome to join the conversation in my Facebook group, too!
Do you have any other favorite easy cracker toppings?
I love a good dip or cheese board, but sometimes it’s fun to have these snacks pre-made for guests. Let me know if I’m missing any other killer combos!

I wouldn’t have thought to put a more dessert spin on the crackers. Sounds good.
