Most of you already know that I got to spend some time over in Ireland and France a few weeks ago (especially if you saw #LSLtravels on Instagram!) and now that I’m back, I’m so excited to tell you about it!! I’ve got tons of photos for you, but I thought this day trip was a great place to start.
One of the days that we were in France, we decided to drive up into the mountains to visit a medieval village called Eze. It is literally built onto the cliff, forming a circular pattern around the base of where the castle used to be. It’s incredible to walk through something that has been around for so long… and there’s nothing like the view at top.
Not only was there a lot of walking involved to get up there, but it was also super hot- so a breathable tank, a flowy skirt that doesn’t stick to you, and flat sandals were ideal as we weaved our way up.
It happened to be a little overcast when we got there, but it kind of made me feel like we were up in the clouds! Plus, I think looking over the Mediterranean Sea like that would be cool no matter what.
Let’s go on one of those yachts next time, ok? 🙂

Bye Eze!

What a beautiful trip! Travel posts are always my favorite and those white sandals could not have been more perfect for romping around the Mediterranean in summer! You look adorable and sooooooo happy!
