Favorite Thrive Market Products
Oh man, this post has been on my “content idea list” for SO LONG – I’m so excited it’s finally live! I discovered Thrive Market a few years ago thanks to my sister-in-law and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. If you’ve never heard of Thrive, it is basically like an online Costco for the best organic and non-GMO groceries, beauty products, and cleaning supplies at 25-50% off regular retail prices. It is membership-based ($60 a year or $10 a month), which is totally worth it, especially if you have trouble finding high quality specialty products in your local grocery store.
You can even sort the products based on your needs: gluten free, dairy free, paleo, vegan, vegetarian, keto, and more! Especially now that grocery shopping is a little more stressful than usual, it’s really nice to be able to get some healthy food and cooking/baking staples delivered right to your door.
Before we dive into my favorite products, while I wish it WAS – this isn’t sponsored ? That being said, if you click from this post to sign up for a Thrive membership, you’ll get a FREE gift (up to $22 value) and I’ll earn a small commission. Win win, right?! Now to the fun stuff…
Favorite Thrive Market Products
Jovial Brown Rice Pasta
Let’s start with my FAVORITE, shall we?! Jovial Foods makes THE BEST brown rice pasta. PERIOD. No other gluten-free pasta cooks and tastes as much like regular pasta as this brand. Adam cannot even tell the difference anymore – it’s that amazing. Farfalle is our favorite, but any of their brown rice shapes are good. Each box is usually around $5 at a normal grocery store, but I order from Thrive Market to get them for $3.49 to $3.99 instead.
Thrive Market Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Anyone else hate carrying big bottles of olive oil home from the grocery store? That alone would be a good enough reason to buy Thrive Olive Oil – but combine it with the discount and it’s a no brainer! A typical 25.4oz bottle of extra virgin olive oil would usually cost $34.99… but this only costs $14.99!
Thrive Market Avocado Oil Spray
Because avocado oil has a higher smoke point (up to 500 degrees!) than olive oil, I am a BIG fan of avocado oil spray for roasting pretty much anything. Also, avocado oil is the only ingredient, unlike a PAM spray that is full of icky additives and preservatives. Thrive Avocado Oil is $4.99, but if that’s sold out, Chosen Foods has a great one for $5.49. (I think Primal Kitchen has one, too!)
The New Primal Mild Buffalo Sauce
I know that a different one is pictured above, but if The New Primal Buffalo Sauce is in stock – that’s one you want. Tessemae’s version is still good, but New Primal is definitely our favorite! I haven’t ever seen it in stores, but it’s on Thrive for $6.99!
Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
My mom actually told me about this apple cider vinegar. Not only is it great in salad dressings, but this particular brand is raw and unfiltered, so it has the nutritive benefits with enzymes that can help with digestion, pH balance, and inflammation. When my gut feels off, sometimes I’ll even pour a little bit into a small glass of water and shoot it back. It has a strong taste, but you get used to it!
Sir Kensington’s Mustard
I never used to be a huge mustard person… until I tried Sir Kensington’s. We usually get their dijon mustard, but sometimes we mix it up and get the spicy brown mustard. They are both SO good in salad dressings with some oil, vinegar, and honey. YUM! Get them for $4.99 each.
Siete Hot Sauce
Not only does Siete have great grain free tortilla chips, but they also have amazing hot sauce! The ingredients are super clean and each bottle is $5.29 on Thrive.
Sprouted Quinoa
I always want to have quinoa on hand for lunches throughout the week. Obviously all quinoa is great, but this sprouted quinoa is higher in nutrients than a lot of the un-sprouted brands as my local stores. Yay nutrients!
Paleo Powder Seasoned Coating Mix
Did you ever make Shake n Bake as a kid? This Paleo Powder mix is pretty much the healthy version of that and we’re OBSESSED. I love that it’s super easy and flavorful, but it only has clean ingredients like almond meal, flax seed meal and spices. $8.99 well spent!
Thrive Market Banana Munchies
I know Nacho flavored banana chips might seem gross, but TRUST ME HERE. They are made with green bananas, which have a way less sugar content than the bananas we’re used to eating. Combined with the nutritional yeast and spices on them, they are addicting. A 6oz bag is $3.99. (They also come in other flavors!) They also have a Paleo Snack Mix with these banana chips and nuts. I love those, too!
Simple Mills Crackers
Even though the individual bags of their almond flour crackers are pictured above, I’d literally recommend ANY of their snacks. Every single one of their crackers are incredible, and I love that they use good-for-you ingredients. They’re based in Chicago, too!
Lesser Evil Snacks
Lesser Evil is another brand that makes a ton of great snacks. They have popcorn, but the egg white curls and paleo puffs are also great. I personally love the egg white curls because they taste like a bad-for-you snack, but the ingredients are clean and they have 6g of protein per serving! Get them for $3.99 a bag.
Biena Chickpea Snacks
Okay, I know baked chickpeas are super easy to make at home… but they’re really only crispy the day you make them. These are not only super crunchy all the time, but they come in delicious flavors. My favorite is the Rockin Ranch. Perfect for a protein filled snack or a healthy crouton alternative on salads!
Brown Rice Stackers
These brown rice stackers are the perfect little vessel for almond butter, banana slices, and cinnamon. I like them even better than regular rice cakes! Each box is $2.99 on Thrive ($3.69 in most stores!) and they have 24 rice cakes inside.
Primal Palate Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Blend
This Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Blend might seem indulgent – but the only ingredients are maple sugar and saigon cinnamon. That’s it! I sprinkle this on my coffee every single morning because it adds the perfect little touch of sweetness. You could also sprinkle it on fruit, peanut butter toast, or pretty much any baked good! Each jar is $8.99.
Spices
Instead of calling out each and every spice that they carry, just know that you can stock up here! Primal Palate has a lot more blends that are great, but Thrive also carries all of the other regular herbs and spices you could possibly want.
Thrive Market Rolled Oats
I’m a big oatmeal gal, so rolled oats are one of those pantry staples that I never like to be without. They aren’t quick cooking, so I usually use these when I make baked oatmeal. Each 32oz bag is only $4.99.
Califia Farms Oat Milk, Barista Blend
While I love my Oatly oat milk, Califia Farms definitely comes in second place! I also really love that it’s shelf stable, so I can keep it in a cabinet until I’m ready for it. On that note, Thrive also carries NutPods Creamers, which are not only shelf stable, but also Paleo, Keto, AND Whole30 approved.
Organic Maple Syrup
Since I am engaged to a man who has bought Aunt Jemima maple syrup his whole life… I like to have the real stuff around at all times so there’s no need for him to buy it anymore ? The only ingredient in Thrive’s version is pure organic maple syrup. That’s it, baby! You can get a 12oz squeeze bottle for $9.99 or stock up with a 32oz jug for $19.99.
Almond Flour
You guys know I don’t bake a lot – but when I do, I like to have this almond flour on hand!! (It’s also nice to have for homemade chicken fingers, too!) This 16 oz bag is only $7.99.
Tapioca Flour
I had absolutely no idea what tapioca flour even was a few months ago, but it’s become a new favorite. Similarly to cornstarch, you can use it to thicken pies, soups, or sauces. Additionally, you can also use it to coat tofu or shrimp so they are crispy on the outside. (I have a shrimp recipe using this method coming in a few days!) An 18oz bag is $3.49.
Coconut Oil
Coconut Oil is one of those thing that can get expensive really fast – but Thrive has amazing prices! A 15oz jar of virgin coconut oil usually retails around $14.99, but as a member, you can get it for just $7.99!
Maldon Sea Salt Flakes
If you’ve never cooked or baked with Maldon Sea Salt before, order this ASAP! I keep mine in a little salt cellar so I can season and/or garnish as I please. The taste and texture is unlike any other salt – plus it looks pretty, especially on chocolate goodies! An 8.5oz box costs $5.49 and lasts a while since a little goes a long way. (I also like Thrive’s Pink Himalayan Sea Salt Grinder too, if you want something less extreme!)
Smart Sweets
If you have a sweet tooth, Smart Sweets makes THE BEST candy. All of the flavors only have 3 or 4 grams of sugar for the entire bag. Yup, you read that right. We love the peach rings!
Eating Evolved Coconut Butter Cups
Speaking of a sweet tooth, if you love chocolate, you must try these Caramel & Sea Salt Coconut Butter Cups. O.M.G. They’re not cheap ($2.79 on Thrive, more at most grocery stores!), but holy moly are they delicious.
How Thrive Market Works
Annual (or monthly) Membership
If these products sound good to you, you can sign up for a FREE 30 day trial. After that, you can choose to purchase an annual or monthly membership. I personally recommend going with the annual membership because that comes down to only $5 a month. (The annual membership fee is $60, or you can do monthly for $10 a month.) On average, it only takes 2 orders to make back the membership fee due to their awesome discounts.
Discounted Prices
Because Thrive sells directly to consumers, they don’t need to mark up their prices for the middle men and retailers. That resules in 25-50% off retail prices on over 6,000 organic, non-GMO, and sustainable products. Members save an average of $32 on every order – and it only takes 2 orders to make back their entire membership fee.
Curated Product Selection
Every item on Thrive Market is carefully curated by over 70 dietary and lifestyle needs. Whether you’re trying out Whole30 or someone in your household NEEDS to eat gluten free, they make it easy and affordable.
