Fish Tacos with Cilantro Lime Sauce
By now, you are all probably familiar with my Learn To Cook videos (Bread Pudding, Lamb Kabobs, Stuffed Chicken Breasts, Cinnamon Rolls, etc.) What you might not know, is that I also shoot videos for their cooking school Escoffier Online! About a month ago, we did another round of shooting deliciousness, and trust me when I say: You MUST make these Fish Tacos! You can watch the video here, or follow along with the recipe below. Enjoy!
Ingredients
(fish tacos)
1 lb white fish (tilapia, snapper or mahi mahi)
2 tbsp cumin
2 tbsp coriander
1tbsp smoked paprika
2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 head purple cabbage, shredded
1 package corn torillas
(cilantro lime sauce)
1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
6 tbsp greek yogurt
1 tsp lime zest
1 tbsp lime juice
pinch of salt
1 small garlic clove, minced
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the cumin, coriander, paprika, black pepper and garlic powder. Coat both sides of the fish well and evenly with the spices.
Place the fish in a lightly greased baking dish. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until fish has cooked through.
While the fish is baking, make the sauce. Combine greek yogurt, chopped cilantro, lime zest, lime juice, minced garlic and salt in a small bowl. Stir to combine.
Place cooked fish in a large bowl and shred into smaller pieces.
We lightly heated the tortillas in a pan before filling them with the fish, slice of avocado, shredded cabbage, and cilantro lime sauce.
Aren’t they pretty?! Let me know if you try them!!
