Floral Maxi Dress for Petites
So, want to hear a funny story about these photos? When we were in Charleston, I put on a long sleeve tee and jeans for a day of sight seeing. I figured I’d be casual all day, and then change for dinner. Well, as soon as I stepped outside and felt the sun, I knew that I would regret my outfit choice about 5 minutes into our 30 minute walk to brunch. So I ran back up the stairs and changed into this dress in 15 seconds FLAT ? Before anyone even noticed I was gone, I was back and ready to go! And as the temperatures crept around 70 degrees, I was so glad I wasn’t sweaty all day – plus this is way cuter for these pretty photo ops, right?!
I have a feeling I’m going to get a ton of use out of this dress all summer. It’s definitely my style, but I love that it’s also super comfortable and I can wear it with flats! A maxi that I didn’t have to shorten and I can wear with flat sandals?! It’s like a summer dream come true!

Adam spotted this little courtyard as we were walking through Charleston and told me to sit for a photo. Doesn’t he have such a good eye?! Apparently I’ve been training him well ?
Do you usually have to hem your maxi dresses?
Or do you have the opposite problem? I always forget that tall girls are struggling to find dresses long enough, just like I’m trying to find dresses short enough!! Which category do you fall under?
