While this post is admittedly very similar to my Lake Shore Lady Approved Gifts post, I still love putting a general gift guide for her together. There are so many fun things out there for all of the ladies in your life! It also helps me put together my own wishlist too…

Practical but fun gifts

My friend Ali recently launched the cutest Chicago tote bag which is now my go-to grocery bag… and I get compliments EVERY time I leave the house with it. Not only is the design adorable with tons of Chicago pride, but it’s also super sturdy and HUGE. It would make a great beach bag, travel bag, anything you want! They also have versions for NYC, California, Texas, and Boston! My #1 gift recommendation this year.

If she likes her home to smell lovely at all times, get her a Hotel Lobby diffuser. Their candles are also amazing, but the diffusers are definitely more practical because you just set it out and let the scent fill your home all the time. And yet, she’ll still get to open a beautiful box with a beautiful vessel and a beautiful scent inside. Wins all around! Positano and Signature are our favorites!

Switching gears entirely, if she likes to cook, GET HER THIS IMMERSION BLENDER. It’s soup season right now, which means that home cooks are either transferring soup to a separate blender or using a hand blender with a cord that keeps getting into the food and making a mess. This solves all of those problems because it’s battery powered – no cord!!! Just trust me on this one. It might seem like a nerdy gift, but it is a GOOD ONE.

Pajamas

I recommend LAKE Pajamas every holiday season and I promise it’s for good reason! They make the softest loveliest pima cotton pajamas on the market, but I also love their DreamModal fabric as a cozier option for winter too. And don’t forget about the maternity section! These were a game changer when I was pregnant and freshly postpartum because they have buttons to make breastfeeding easier.

If she’d prefer loungewear over pajamas, Varley is a great brand to look at if you want to spoil her. It’s pricey but the fabric is so luxurious and this sweatshirt and relaxed pants that I got last year still feel brand new. If that’s out of budget, I can’t speak to how long they’ll hold up but this sweatshirt and pants set is a great dupe! 

Fashion

I recently got these clogs and I am in looooove. They are wildly comfortable and a great throw-on-and-go for any busy lady in your life!

As for clothes, I know that can be trickier – but Sezane is a super cool french brand that pretty much every woman I know loves… and she will think you’re very cool for knowing about it! I recommend getting one of their classic sweaters like this one or this one so you don’t have to worry about sizing too much.

On that note, if you already know that she’s a Hill House fan, nap dresses make a great gift because sizing is super flexible thanks to their smocked bodice and flowy skirt. Same goes for these Cat Mom and Dog Mom sweatshirts… I love a cheeky gift!

Beauty 

You’ve probably noticed that I’ve put Salt & Stone body wash on a few gift guides now… and that’s because it’s SO GOOOOD. And she needs a makeup bag to put everything in, right?! This one is a game changer because it stands upright with a bunch of different compartments and then the top FOLDS OVER when you unzip it. Yes, that means everything stays in it’s place. It’s the best.

Adam got me this C necklace last year for Christmas and I have worn it every single day since. He got it on this chain so that I can wear it in the shower and everything! I have way more ideas below, but I’ll round out the post with this perfume that reacts to your body to make the most natural scent. Plus it rolls on and is small enough to throw in your purse! And while this unique lotion stone isn’t perfume, it smells so good that I’m including it here. I got these bath pebbles as gifts for a few people this year too. Such a cool small business!!
