Gift Guide: For Him
(Click on + above for exact products)
Let’s hear it for the boys! Last week, it was all about the girls gift guide, so now it’s time for the men in our lives. Men can be tricky, so I’ve got some classics, as well as some cool new gift ideas.
Check ’em out!
He’ll look like a stud in his new sunglasses. He’ll smell like a stud in his new cologne.
If you live in Chicago, The Tie Bar has a pop up shop on Armitage in Lincoln Park! If you can’t stop in, you can shop online – and you totally should. They have tons of ties, bow ties, pocket squares… plus they make gifting even easier with Style Boxes, like this one inspired by my favorite men’s fashion blogger, I Am Galla (seriously, his style is perfect).
Is he always on the go? This iPhone case has 100% extra battery power for those long days. If he travels a lot, this Travel Kit with quality hair, skin and shaving products could come in handy.
He can bring home the bacon in this bacon money clip or this gorgeous Rag & Bone wallet.
If you’ve got a whiskey lover on your hands, he should check out the Guide to Urban Moonshining. I also think these Sphere Ice Molds are super cool for at-home cocktails.
Cold weather gear is always a safe bet. J. Crew and Gap are a few places with tons of beanies, gloves, and scarves to choose from.
If you want something really unique, The Laser Lab makes really cool engraved gifts that you won’t see anywhere else. If your guy has sweet facial hair, the beard combs have been some of their best sellers. I also think these are hilarious, and they do custom orders, too! (Fun Fact: the man behind this is also married to the adorable Emily Belden, author of EighySixed!)
Another unique gift? A USB Turntable that will play his favorite records, and also convert them from vinyl to digital files. Plus, it looks cool.
I’ve learned that, for some reason, guys actually like receiving socks for Christmas. I personally only understand if they come with a new pair of Cole Haan shoes.
