Gift Guide: For The Home

We’ve shopped For Him and For Her separately, so now let’s shop for both!! Surprise surprise, I love buying gifts for the home. I always want new gadgets for my kitchen, and who wouldn’t want something new for entertaining?! A lot of these gifts are also great for those people who have everything, too. Those people. We all know ’em.
I love my Bialetti pan so much, and I recommend it to people all the time. I make everything from stir fry to tomato sauce to risotto in this thing. The nano-ceramic nonstick coating is so easy to work with – plus I think the red exterior is so pretty. At 40% off, this 3-pack is a great deal, too. Psst… if you’re into spending more, every kitchen guru also wants a Le Creuset…
Who else is dying for a Vitamix?! They can do everything – it’s crazy! Since some of them are up in the $600 range, this high-performance personal blender is a little bit more affordable with a lot of the same capabilities as the big guys.
I love cute bar accessories, and these champagne flutes are gorgeous. Pair it with this adorable print for over their bar and they’re ready for a party! Also, a couple of my loved ones are going to be getting this wine-saver for Christmas. I don’t like to think about good wine going to waste 🙂
Speaking of parties, everyone needs serving trays! I love this slate serving board and cute “Fancy Another?” tray. Bringing a gift to a host? How about a set of fancy salts or peppermint bark? (There’s also a really cool spice of the month subscription called RawSpiceBar)
Almost everyone drinks coffee, but that also means almost everyone also has a coffee maker already. That being said, a new (and beautiful) french press or a sweet espresso machine are awesome gifts.
And when in doubt, get ’em a cookbook! There are so many good ones right now – SkinnyTaste, Yum Universe, The Kitchy Kitchen… and they can snuggle up to peruse the recipes under their new throw blanket!
And finally, my super talented friend Blair from The Fox & She is selling prints of her paintings for only $35 each. It’s a great unique gift and it’s supporting a local Chicago artist!
