Holiday Combo: Red and Leopard Print
Alpaca Cardigan: c/o Everlane (It’s no secret that I love their alpaca crew sweaters, so obviously I love the alpaca cardigan, too! Runs oversized, but perfectly cozy!) | Hair Clip: J.Crew (On sale! Also, it comes in a set of 3 and I love/wear every single one, which is awesome!) | Pants: c/o Everlane (Runs TTS and a little snug around the waist – which I love! I got the “short” length since I’m only 5’2″. You can see them styled more ways in my capsule post!) | Sunglasses: Loft (Very old, but I love this pair that’s 40% off right now!) | Shoulder Bag: c/o Madewell (Another piece from my capsule post! Such a beautiful bag and a great size in-between a tote and clutch.) | Leopard Print Booties: Coach (Mine are years old, but these look SO similar and are 40% off!)
Leopard Print Booties:
Last week, I was shooting with Hannah and we had some extra time so I pulled this sweater out. I was trying to think of a way to make it a little bit more exciting – because obviously you all know you can wear this with jeans for a cozy day. And it would certainly be cute with a leather skirt (just like I styled the alpaca crew!). But what about when you want something nicer than jeans but warmer than a skirt? This outfit solves that problem!
It’s funny – I got these booties back in 2015. I actually almost put them in the sell pile last year because I didn’t wear them very much… and now this year, leopard booties are EVERYWHERE! So glad I didn’t get rid of them!!
When it comes to statement boots/booties like these, I think the key is to find a pair that feels both trendy and classic. Find a shape and heel height you know you’ll always love. Then, let the print be the bold and trendy part of the booties! This is the same approach I’m trying to take with the snakeskin trend… still haven’t found my perfect pair yet though!
If you’re in the market, here are a few of my favorite leopard print booties out there right now. I think these look the most like mine, but I also LOVE this pair from Michael Kors – they’re 50% off right now, too!
