Holiday Outfits for Petites
Looking for holiday outfits for petites? Here are some of my favorites this year!
Hey friends! I shot this fun little reel of holiday outfits for Instagram – and then I realized that it would probably be helpful to have some more information about each look here on the blog. It’s been really clear recently that sizing insights are helpful for all of you, especially my fellow petite gals! I get it – I’m the same way! I always read reviews or check captions in the LTK app before making purchases. But honestly, even if you aren’t in the market for something new, I hope this reel and post help you find some ideas for your holiday gatherings these next few weeks. “Festive attire” doesn’t have to be limited to red and green!
Holiday Outfits for Petites
You can see all of these outfits in action by watching this reel!
Outfit #1
This cutout dress was a sale find – and it’s still marked down! I got my usual size 2 and it fits me perfectly. The reviews all say that the petite sizes run really small, so even if you’re petite, I’d go with the regular sizing. I paired it with these pumps, which I’ve had for years now. I can’t wait to style this with a thin turtleneck underneath, too. So cute!

Outfit #2
This bustier top and sequin skirt are selling out fast, so if you see your size – snag it! For reference, I got an XS in the top and a petite 0 in the skirt. As for the booties, I know that they’re pricey, but wowza they are awesome. So beautifully made and surprisingly comfortable!

Outfit #3
I am so glad I treated myself to this blouse because it is so beautiful in person! I also love that I can keep the neckline high in a professional setting or let it fall lower for a party or date night. The green is sold out right now, but it’s available in 4 other colors and I got a size 2. I paired it with my favorite skinny jeans (I wear size 26 in ankle length!) and my wedding shoes (more styles by Loeffler Randall here!).

Outfit #4
Finally a sweater/skirt set made in petite sizing! I got this in petite small and I love that the pieces can be worn together or separately. Unfortunately my boots are super old, but this pair looks very similar!

Outfit #5
This top was another Cyber Week purchase – and now it’s over 40% off again! It runs a little blousy, but I’d go with your normal size (I got an XS). I love that the print feels really festive, but not overtly holiday. Unfortunately my velvet pants are sold out in black, but the 2 available colors are so pretty! I got them in petite small.

Outfit #6
I bought this exact dress a few year ago for a friend’s wedding, but this dress is SO similar! It has the same bodice, open back, length, and slit. The only differences are the updated print and the slightly shorter tie sleeves. I got my usual size 2!

Outfit #7
Unfortunately this maxi dress sold out in between the time I filmed the reel and this post going live – OF COURSE 🙈 But I have an XS if that helps you find your size on eBay – and there are a ton of beautiful new styles available now, too!

Outfit #8
Looking for some sparkle?! I still can’t believe this dress is only $58 – it’s SO GOOD. It does run a little short, so keep that in mind if you’re tall… but it’s totally a perk if you’re petite like me! I got a size small.

I am working on a post with more New Year’s Eve outfit options, too – so stay tuned for that very soon!!
