Jamba Juice: Whole Food Nutrition
Last week, I got to spend the morning at Jamba Juice to learn about their new Whole Food Nutrition Smoothies.
Jamba Juice is determined to help consumers incorporate more fruits and vegetables into their diets in an easy and appealing way. Especially at the beginning of the year when everyone is trying to stick to health and fitness goals, these smoothies can help you stay on track and curb your cravings.
We got to try the Kale-Ribbean Breeze (pictured above) which is a blend of mangos, kale, passion-mango juice, nonfat greek yogurt, and chia seeds. This smoothie contains 2 servings of veggies and 2.5 servings of fruit + protein, fiber, calcium, omega-3s, vitamin A, and vitamin C. There’s a lot of good stuff in this delicious smoothie!
You can taste a little bit of the kale in the Kale-Ribbean Breeze, but the Carrot Orange Fusion tastes just like any other Jamba smoothie you know and love. This one has orange juice, fresh whole carrots, bananas, mangos, nonfat greek yogurt, soy milk, and chia seeds. This smoothie packs in 10g of protein, 7g of fiber, 1 serving of veggies and 2 servings of fruit.
