January 2022 Bestsellers + What I Bought Last Month
Happy February, everyone!!! Since the first month of 2022 is now behind us, I thought I would start a new series all about what I bought and what YOU bought this month!
In addition to talking about things like what I’m reading/watching/listening to, I always tell my email subscribers what’s in my cart along with the top 5 bestsellers of the week. (They’re really fun emails and I only send them on Monday evenings. Click here to subscribe!) While I like keeping that content exclusive for them each week, I figured a monthly recap would be helpful for me – and maybe interesting for you, too. It’s always fun when people lift the veil a little, right? So, let’s dive in!
What I Bought in January 2022
Skincare Organizer
This countertop organizer was the first thing I bought to kick off the new year because my counter was getting so messy. Now I can have the products I want readily available right there, without driving Adam crazy. At just $25, I think it’s an awesome little investment! Plus it looks pretty sleek next to this mirror that my parents got me for Christmas.
I’ll save the details about all of the skincare products you see here for another post, but in the meantime, you can shop the widget below:
—
L’Occitane Shower Oil
I was influenced by Shaheen to get this shower oil and it is so lovely!! If you struggle with dry skin in the winter, this is a no brainer!
—
Sezane Sweater
I treated myself to this sweater as a little Valentine’s Day gift to myself, and I’m so glad I did. I fell in love with a crewneck sweater very similar to this one last year and I was so sad that it didn’t fit me right. But this one is PERFECT. And you can wear it with the buttons in the back, too! (See below!) I got an XS.

Everlane Jeans
I wear these jeans in a darker wash ALL the time, so when I saw that this wash was on major sale in my size, I snagged them. They’re just such a classic skinny jean – great high rise, just the right amount of stretch, sustainably made, and they come in short for petites. If your size isn’t available anymore, this style is also really similar. I usually wear a 26 ankle in Everlane jeans with stretch, otherwise I size up.

Athletic Greens
As I mentioned on stories, curiosity got the best of me and I ordered Athletic Greens for myself to try. I was really prepared to think it’s overhyped – I even put a note in my calendar to remind myself to cancel after one month so I wouldn’t be charged again – but it turns out, I really like it. I’ll write a whole big unsponsored blog post with pros and cons once I’ve taken it for a full 30 days, so stay tuned for that!!

Sedona Sweatshirt
I definitely didn’t need another sweatshirt, but I ordered this one right after we booked our trip to Arizona in March. I mean, can’t you just picture a photo of us on a morning hike with me in this sweatshirt and bike shorts?! I can see it already!
—
J.Crew Summit Parka
I got this coat when there was an insane sale on the sale price – and WOW I’m so glad I got it. Not only is it adorable (love the piping!), but it’s also SUPER warm. Like, almost as warm as my puffers. I got a petite 2 and there’s still plenty room of room for bulky sweaters, so I’d say it runs a little bit big. The rest of the outfit is linked here, too!
—
Eyelash Half-Zip Sweater
If all you want to wear are ridiculously soft things that feel like blankets, then you will also love this sweater 🙂 The fabric almost feels like chenille – it’s sooooo cozy. I got a size small!
—
Workout Tank
I’ve just been wearing sports bras when I work out at home, but now that I have my video on for Bande classes a few days a week, I realized that I could use another tank to throw on – and this $15 option is awesome. It’s super soft, really breathable, and washes great. I got a size small and I wish it were a little bit more cropped, but that’s just because I’m so short!
—
KF94 Masks
Once we heard that cloth masks aren’t cutting it anymore, I ordered these masks and we’re big fans. I love that they are structured to stay off of your mouth, and they’re really breathable, too!
