Umm before we launch into this post, can we talk about Grease Live last night?! Holy moly, my musical theatre loving heart was in heaven! To be honest, I was expecting it to be a mess – so the whole thing was pleasant surprise after pleasant surprise! I knew Broadway veteran Aaron Tveit would be excellent (and dreamy), but the rest of the cast was just as impressive! Vanessa Hudgens lost her father to cancer the day before and still managed to give an incredible performance. Tragedy aside, There Are Worse Things I Could Do was beautiful. The whole cast, along with the really smart direction (by Thomas Kail of Hamilton!) put on quite a show. Is it too soon to watch it again?! #nerdalert
Moving on from Greased Lightning to LSL – Maya and I snapped these photos after we shot our New Years outfits, hence why you may see glimpses of my Rebecca Taylor dress under the coat! But besides the snazzy dress, all of this outerwear has been on serious repeat through January. This soft mint color is out of stock (I know!), but I would still highly recommend this cocoon coat. I love the sleek design, plus it’s super warm and cozy.
I’m also still not bored of this Vera Bradley bag. The leopard print adds such a fun pop of print to any outfit – and it’s on sale!
Even though I love this scarf and warm over the knee boots (they’re on sale!), I’m glad we all haven’t been freezing the past few days. Who else is hoping it stays in the 40s for the rest of winter?!
Thanks again to Maya for these photos!
