Kalla-day Cheer
Kalla surprised me with flowers a few weeks ago, and I couldn’t get over how gorgeous they were. So, when they reached out to me about the Kalla Holiday Challenge, it didn’t take long for me to agree. Except this time, the flowers weren’t being delivered to me!
My mom just celebrated her birthday, two days before Thanksgiving. I was spending time in the suburbs helping her prepare, since we were hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year. The morning of this delivery, she turned to me and said, “I should have gotten a center piece for the table!” Umm…
The doorbell rang and she had no idea what was in this box. Seriously, she told the delivery guy she’d be mad at him if a puppy was in there. I have to give her credit though, this isn’t usually how flowers are delivered – it’s way better.
I sent her the Gaia and Rhea arrangement – perfect for her Thanksgiving table.
But wait there’s more! Champagne from Hill Family Estate and pretty Christopher Elbow chocolates!
Not only is the presentation lovely, but they come with a note from the sender, a description of the flowers, and a little bit about the treats, too!
This bouquet is named after strong mother goddesses. The base is pine, cedar, douglas fir, and juniper berry. The stars of the show are definitely the rose gold seeded eucalyptus and hand-painted succulents mixed with burgundy cymbidium orchids.
The rope vase was the perfect rustic touch for Thanksgiving at home.
Happy Birthday to my Mama and I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!
I also did the Friday Five for The Windy City Blogger Collective today! Check it out and have a great weekend!
