Last Minute Gifts!
This is a big moment for me… because this is my LAST GIFT GUIDE OF THE YEAR! Wahoooooooo! If you somehow missed all of my other ones, head to this page to peruse them all – or check out my “Gifts” highlight on Instagram or the gift guide section on my LTK page.
But even though there’s been a lot of gift coverage already, I’ve rounded up a bunch of last minute ideas for the most requested people in your lives. I hope this is helpful for you!
Last Minute Gifts
Stocking Stuffers and Grab Bags
Absorbent Coasters – $14.99
I know I’ve been talking about these coasters a lot this season, but we got them a few months ago and we are OBSESSED. No more condensation pooling on coasters! Woo! I think these would be great for gender neutral grab bag/white elephant exchanges, or as a host gift or stocking stuffer!
Atlas of the Heart by Brene Brown – $18.34
Brene Brown is one of my favorite authors (and people in general) so I can’t wait to read her latest book!
Relaxation Soak – $33.75
My favorite Chicago based and female founded CBD company, Equilibria is offering 25% off sitewide right now – and you can combine that with my code LAKESHORELADY for 15% off your first purchase! That means you can get their relaxation soak (aka an amazing gift for literally anyone) for as low as $29! Their seasonal CBD gummies also make a great stocking stuffer!
Alice & Wonder Holiday Drinkware – 40% off
This Chicago shop has the cutest holiday drinkware – and at 40% off, they fit into almost any grab bag budget! They’ve also marked down their holiday apparel, candles, and ornaments. Plus, you can opt to pick up in store if you’re worried about shipping times!
Satin Sleep Set – $25.20
This satin sleep set comes with a pillowcase, eye mask, and scrunchie. If you don’t need all that, the eye mask alone is marked down to $11.20 right now!
Wool & Cashmere Spray – $10
I discovered this wool & cashmere spray a few months ago and I don’t know what I ever did without it. Not only does it smell amazing, but it’s formulated to refresh and deodorize fibers like wool and cashmere. I also highly recommend their wool & cashmere shampoo for anyone who wants to save on their dry cleaning bills!
Vintage Bookshelf Edition Catch Phrase – $33.60
I mean… who doesn’t love Catch Phrase?! It’s one of the greatest games ever!
Biossance Gift Set – $12.00
At just 12 bucks, this little gift set is a great extra gift for any skincare guru! I recently got a sample size of the resurfacing serum that’s included and can confirm that it’s amazing. You can also get it in this gift set and this gift set too – and both are on major sale!
Brightland Olive Oil – $37.00
I received Brightland’s Mini Essentials set as a gift from my manager/friend and I have been blown away by the quality and taste. Honestly, you’re cutting it really close if you order from their website but if you live in Chicago, you can pick up a bottle of their olive oil right at Foxtrot.
Weekday Vegetarian – $21.78
I don’t have this cookbook yet but I have multiple friends who RAVE about it!
Stasher Bags – $19.19
You might remember these from my Sustainable Gift Guide! I know they don’t seem all that exciting but they are one of the most useful gifts you can get someone!
Exploding Kittens – $15.99
This game is super weird, but also SO FUN. It’s all about being strategic, which makes it a really fun game to play with your friends (and lots of wine!).
Amazon Fire Stick – $29.99
We got our first Fire Stick for the TV in our bedroom, since we knew we didn’t need to have cable in there. But after realizing how amazing it is, we ordered another one for our living room and cancelled our Comcast subscription! This handy little thing connects to your wifi so that you can stream Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime – all of them!

Brother/Boyfriend/Fiance/Husband Who Has Everything
LL Bean Pullover – $69.95
This pullover is one of Adam’s all time favorite clothing items – so much so that he asked for a 2nd one this year!
Bulls Sweatshirt – $65
After I bought this Bulls sweatshirt for myself (also a great gift!), I saw this version for men and immediately ordered it for Adam for Christmas. I love the 90’s vibe – perfect for a guy who grew up watching MJ!
Get him an experience!
A few years ago, Adam and I decided not to get each other gifts so that we could go to Barcelona and Lisbon, and it was the BEST DECISION EVER. Since then, we have an understanding that we might get each other something small… but we won’t go overboard so that we can save for experiences and trips. If that’s out of the question, here are a few more ideas:
- Get tickets to a concert or sporting event.
- Plan a weekend getaway within driving distance. We loved Kohler!!
- A fancy date night on you!
Charging Tray – $100 or $175
I just think this charging tray is so freaking SLEEEEK! Obviously this would be a great gift for women too, but I personally purchased some of their products for men in my life this year.
Rothy’s Driving Loafers – $185
Most men that I know hate buying new shoes for themselves, especially NICE ones. These driving loafers are a little pricey, but you can use code LAKESHORELADY20 to get $20 off!! Not only that, but they’re sustainably made, super comfortable, machine washable, and they will go with almost everything in his closet. ALL WINS!
Lululemon Joggers – $118.00
When in doubt, freshen up his activewear! I seriously think you can’t go wrong with Lulu joggers – whether he wants to wear them to the gym or just casually around the house/running errands!

Parent and In-Laws
Wine Chiller – $89.95
My parents get the credit for discovering this wine chiller – and now I tell everyone about it! Truly such a great gift to give to your Mom and Dad or your In-Laws!
Hatch Restore – $129.99
If your parents or in-laws have trouble sleeping at all, get them a Hatch Restore! I got one earlier this year and I am obsessed. You can fully customize all of the nighttime and morning settings to fit your personal preferences… and the sunrise light makes mornings so much better!
Nespresso Aeroccino 4 Frother – $119.95
Also known as the frother I talk about all the time! Truly the best gift ever for any latte lovers.
Ember Mug – $99.99
Speaking of coffee lovers, I have heard such great things about this temperature controlled mug!
Perfect Pot – $165
Okay so the perfect pot definitely won’t arrive before Christmas, but I still think it’s an AWESOME parent gift. It is nonstick, oven-safe, and extremely lightweight for a pot of it’s size. If you get it for them, just print a photo of it and put that in a really nice card. They won’t mind waiting a few weeks to actually get it, trust me!
Faux Peonies – $39.50 a bundle
I know I’ve raved about these faux peonies a lot, but I just love them so much. I found that 4 bundles fit this vase nicely, but if you have a smaller vase, you might not need that many bundles!
Bombas Socks – $147.60
I got this idea because my Dad actually asked for these this year! The best socks from a really cool company = perfect Dad gift.
Get them an experience, too!
If none of these gifts are speaking to you, get them an experience! Here are a few ideas that are great for parents:
- Massages
- Tickets to a concert or sporting event
- Tickets to a Broadway In Chicago or Chicago Shakespeare show
- Gift card to their favorite restaurant for a date night

Sisters/Sister in Law
Cropped Sweatshirt – $38.50
I just got this cropped sweatshirt and it is SO SOFT AND SO CUTE. There are 3 different graphics to choose from – Chicago, Montauk, and Palm Springs.
Wunder Under Leggings – $69
There are a ton of Lululemon leggings marked down right now, so if you see their size – grab them! I personally love the Wunder Unders, especially for cycling!
Beis Weekender Bag – $98
I got this weekender bag a few years ago and it was such a great purchase. It has a ton of compartments, including one on the bottom specifically for shoes!
Teddy Slippers – $65
These are the coziest slippers ever. Also, while you’re over there, my favorite alpaca sweater would make a great gift too!
Cable Knit Half Zip – $58.50
J.Crew’s supersoft yarn is exactly how it sounds – SUPER SOFT. I love this half zip style, too. Such a great mix of cozy and chic.
Sunday Riley Gift Set – $93
If she’s into skincare, but won’t usually splurge on herself – this gift set has a ton of really great products. I’ve been using the A+ retinol serum for years!
