Lemon Cucumber Water
I’ve been to the beach a couple of times, I haven’t worn a jacket in a while, my habit of only wearing dresses and skirts for weeks at a time is in full force… it’s officially summertime!!
When the weather warms up, I’m always looking for delicious and refreshing drinks, but I’m not the biggest fan of sugary ones like sodas or sweet teas. So, I’ve been seeing a lot of flavored waters around the internet and I decided to finally make one myself!
Not only is this delicious, but it has hydrating and detoxing benefits! Lemon is a great source of Vitamin C, but it also helps alkalize your body and it boosts your immune system. Cucumbers are packed with vitamins and anti-inflammatory properties, and can also help you get great skin. Sounds good to me.
Here’s how you make it!
Slice 1/2 of a large cucumber and 1 small (or 1/2 of a large) lemon.
Pour cold water over the top.
That’s IT!
The cucumber and lemon stay fresh for a few rounds of water refills, too!
Enjoy this all summer long!

I'm one of those people who hates drinking plain water- but I know how much I need to! This looks so easy and really refreshing!

It's a great way to trick yourself into drinking more water!! Keep a pitcher of it in your fridge at all times, and I bet you'll start reaching for it.
