Links I Love + Taco Week Announcement!
Before I launch into my favorite links this week, I have two quick announcements.
First of all- Happy Birthday to my NANA!! She is pretty much the one responsible for my love of style (she still dresses so well!) and musicals (we both share a deep love for classic musicals- Julie Andrews, Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron- we love you!) and Italian food (a few of the recipes on the blog are thanks to her!). 1) How cute are these DIY polka dot glasses by Lovely Indeed?! I’m not the craftiest, but I feel like I could handle this.
2) I love everything about this post by Style on the Line. The fun sweater, the feminine skirt, the sleek white heels (on sale!!) and, of course, Chicago.
3) I’m obsessed with this braid featured on Gal Meets Glam. I need to figure out how to make that work for me. I also would like that Rory Beca Jacket. Isn’t the color so pretty?!
4) Proof That Literally No One Wears Handkerchiefs Better Than Goldens. The only thing I have to say about this is that labradors should have been included in the title. Evidence: HERE.
5) I love wine, but I don’t always want to spend a lot. Luckily, The Kitchn has put together a roundup of their favorite wines from Whole Foods! So handy!
6) I have a friend who knows that I have a weakness for (don’t judge me!) chick lit. She also knows that I enjoy reading great books. So, for every silly LoveHampton style book that she sends my way, she also demands that I read books like Olive Kitteridge. A book about complex and interesting women that takes place in Maine? I’m so in. I’ll let you know how it is.
