I LOVE that drying lotion and all things Mario but I need to try out that gel ASAP. A friend gave it to me and it's just been sitting in my drawer because I didn't know how to use it haha!

Lauren, I couldn't be more with you on this post. I'm often told that I have such lovely skin by those I know on the internet, but in reality, it's my biggest struggle appearance-wise, and a constant source of embarrassment and frustration for me. (How am I this old and still struggling with this?!) On camera, my skin looks fine… but lighting, angles avoiding close-ups is how I accomplish it. 🙁 Booooo!

And I completely agree about the working from home thing. I don't always dress up or put makeup on, and therefore the mirror is often my worst enemy!

Anyway, thank you SO MUCH for these recommendations. I LOVE Bliss, and I used to use Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion and found it phenomenal. Need to pick it up again!

As for the creams, I highly suggest Smashbox's CC Cream. I hated the idea of using something like a foundation, but this stuff is super light and has SPF, and it blends SO naturally! I've tried a bunch and it's definitely my fave. Just use a little bit, though. Also: it's a tiny bottle but it lasts FOREVER! 🙂

    xoxo!

I love Dr.Jart BB Cream! It is perfect for those hot summer days that you don't want a full face of makeup! still provides coverage without the heavy feeling of foundation. And it has 45 SPF!
