Black + White + Vintage
Sweater: Madewell (final sale here) | Bow: c/o Forever 21 | Jeans: JBrand | Clutch: c/o Vera Bradley (love this too) | Shoes: Vince |
Remember this post by the fireplace?! Believe it or not – before I put on that super slinky little number, I wore normal clothes like these 🙂
Do you blame me for changing, though?! A gorgeous space like South Loop Loft begs for multiple shoots! It’s seriously like interior design heaven – so many vintage goodies.
You last saw these flares in this post a few months ago, but this Madewell sweater is new to you! I saw it in stores when there was a discount and snagged it. When you live in Chicago, you can never have too many sweaters, right? I also wanted to play up the black and white in the sweater by pairing it with a stark white clutch and a cute black bow in my hair. Girly touches always win in my book!
Want a know a secret? Right after Maya snapped these photos for me, we sipped on these cocktails that Jess made us (coming to her blog soon!). I never say no to a cocktail with gal pals… even in the middle of the afternoon. Woops!

I LOVE that Vera Bradley clutch — I have it too and I'm so amazed at how versatile it is! It pairs with everything — especially these stinkin' cute J Brand flares (J Brand makes THE BEST jeans imho).

I love that sweater! I agree, Chicago weather often calls for a good sweater. That bow is adorable too, the perfect touch!
