Happy Monday! I thought I’d kick off the week with a little chat about the holiday that always creeps up on me: Mother’s Day! I totally blame the weather… if it’s not really spring yet, then I still have time to order a gift, right? Anyone else think this way too?! (Although today is supposed to be GORGEOUS, so I guess my excuse doesn’t work anymore ?)
Luckily, I got my act together this year though! Instead of hemming and hawing over what necklace to get my Mom, I decided to create something memorable with Artifact Uprising. For those of you who aren’t familiar with them, they have the BEST photo gifts for literally any budget or occasion. My siblings actually put together an awesome softcover book for my 30th Birthday that I keep out on my coffee table all the time. It’s one of my favorite gifts because it was so thoughtful!
And just in case you’re already on board before reading about what I got my Mom, use my code LSL15 for 15% off your Mother’s Day gifts from Artifact Uprising until May 7th! But also… keep reading because these gifts are SO CUTE. Okay? Great!
So… if you saw my Instagram story last week, you know that I became an Aunt again recently! That’s right, as if my parents weren’t obsessed with my first nephew enough, there is now a 2nd nephew to love!! PHEW.
Since we have a complete overload of cuteness in our family at the moment, I thought it was the perfect time to create a Mother’s Day gift around her favorite photos. But if we’re being honest, my Mama has enough photo books, so I didn’t want to go that route. Instead, I wanted something that could seamlessly fit into their home and STAY on display all the time. After all, we’ve got a proud Nana over here!
This cute little calendar couldn’t have been a better Mother’s Day gift this year. I picked out 12 of my Mom’s favorite photos, featuring the new baby, a ton of Mikey, and a few full family shots. I even snuck in a photo of her own Mom for good measure!
The stand is super easy to put together and looks really sleek. Plus, it only requires about 2 days for production, so as long as you order before Thursday (5/3), you should get it in time for Mother’s Day!
How cute is that full family selfie?
Can you believe Adam took it? Long arms for the WIN!
As I was putting the calendar together, I realized that it was nearly impossible to narrow our collection of cute baby and family photos down to 12, so I decided to get also get an Everyday Print Set to round out the gift. I love the texture of these prints – something about them feels really special, and almost a little vintage-y. She can pop a few in frames or just leave them as is!
What are you getting your Mom for Mother’s Day?
If you want to get your Mama the Easel & Calendar or photo prints, don’t forget to use LSL15 for 15% off your order until May 7th – although, I recommend ordering before Thursday, May 3rd if you want it for Mother’s Day (with ground shipping)! Also, my top is by Yumi Kim and my jeans are from Madewell in case you were wondering! Let me know if you have any other questions, too – I’m happy to answer them!
