My Morning Routine with Starbucks Plus

Good morning, friends!!
Since I don’t have to be at an office every day, I get asked about my morning routine a lot. How do I start my day? And how do I get myself motivated to work? Well, let’s talk about it!
To be honest, mornings are usually when I’m most productive. Sure, I don’t always want to get out of bed right away. Yes, I press snooze sometimes… but who doesn’t?! Regardless, I’m usually up and making my cup of coffee by 7:30am at the latest.
To make sure that I kick the day off on the right foot, I’ve been taking 10 minutes each morning to meditate and/or stretch – depending on what I need. I’ll also occasionally get up for a 7:00 or 8:00am fitness class, but I try to put on workout clothes in the morning even when I’m not going to class right away. This helps motivate me to fit in a sweat sesh sometime throughout the day. If I shower and put on real clothes, I’ll never go to a spin class later. Just being real!
but first, coffee
Once I’ve changed my clothes and stretched, it’s time for that morning brew! My coffee of choice right now? The NEW Starbucks® Plus Coffee Medium Roast K-Cup® pods! This new blend has twice the caffeine of a regular Starbucks® K-Cup® coffee, so get ready to be productive! I especially like the Medium Roast, because even though this blend is strong, it’s lighter-bodied and a little mellow. I also love that the extra caffeine is naturally found in coffee beans rather than artificial add-ins. Exactly what I want in the morning! And being able to find it easily at Target is great no matter what time of day.
Since berries are in season right now, I’ve been wanting to eat them fresh every morning – and oatmeal is my favorite way to do that. The sweetness of the berries plus the fiber and vitamins in oats make this a perfect breakfast with a cup of (extra-caffeinated) joe!
Once I have my coffee and oatmeal at my desk, the first thing I do is make my to-do list for the day. It’s the best way for me to understand what needs to get done first, what can wait, and what calls/meetings will interrupt those tasks. I used to write them down in a planner every day, but now I use the note-taking app on my computer! This allows me to move things around, change the order, click the checkmark when something is done, and get a sense for what I can push to the rest of the week. Highly recommend organizing yourself this way if you’re looking to switch things up!
Want to try the Starbucks® Plus Coffee K-Cup® Pods to help you make the most of your days? You can get a box at your local Target or just order it right on Target.com. SO easy!
