Sushi at NoMI Garden
A few weeks ago I got to try the sushi menu at NoMI Garden. You may remember the deliciousness if you follow me on Snapchat (username: lakeshorelady) or if you double tapped this instagram, but today you get to see pictures from the whole meal! Woo!
The night began with this pretty cocktail – flowers and coconut chips? Yes, please.
Once we sat down, they kicked off the meal with a beautiful ceviche and salmon tataki.
The ceviche was perfectly bright and citrusy, but I loved the ever so slightly seared salmon even more! Yum!
Oh, and more pretty drinks! Yes, I will have a Sparkling Rose Sangria, thank you.
And then the sashimi came out – how gorgeous is that?! Scallops, salmon, yellowtail and roe. (I tried some of that roe – aren’t you proud?!)
I wasn’t as adventurous with the uni on this platter, but there was also snapper, eel, shrimp, tomago, as well as more tuna, salmon, yellowtail and roe!
Oh, and Dragon, Tiger and Garden sushi rolls. Because clearly we needed more variety 🙂
Have you been to NoMI?! Put it on your list before it starts to get cold again – the view from their rooftop garden is so beautiful!
And finally, dessert. This one was a raspberry greek yogurt creation that was almost too pretty to eat!
It was accompanied by a cherry sesame tart, which was a really interesting combination of flavors. If you are a sweet and salty person, order this one.
So… you’re going to book your reservation at NoMI now?
Ok great. Let me know how you like it 🙂
