Leopard Jacket: BB Dakota (so fluffy and super warm!) | Bodysuit: Alice & Wonder (similar here and up to 40% off here!) | Skirt: Alice & Wonder (Wearing a size 2 – love that you can tie the wrap as tight as loose as you want!) | Tights: Gap | Shoes: Steve Madden (similar here – and 20% off right now!) | Lipstick: Col-lab (my exact color is sold out, but they have a bunch of other colors! This stuff stays on longer than anything else I’ve tried.)
Happy Friday-Before-Christmas!!!! Not gonna lie, I am in the best mood today. Even though I have some work to do between now and Wednesday, it’s not a crazy amount. AND my parent’s dropped off their golden retriever for the weekend, so… I’m basically in puppy and Christmas heaven. 😍 (Yes, you’re going to want to watch my insta-stories all weekend!)
But let’s chat about New Year’s!
I shot this outfit during Alice & Wonder’s Holiday photoshoot in November, and it really is the perfect NYE outfit for Chicago. First of all, this leopard jacket is EVERYTHING. I still haven’t bought it for myself yet, but after look at these photos again, I’m pretty sure I need it. As a petite person, faux fur coats tend to look huge and somewhat ridiculous on me. But this one is short enough to not overwhelm me. Plus, the snow leopard is just so fun!
Then there’s the bodysuit. I was still very skeptical of bodysuits last year, but I’m a convert now. They’re comfy, slimming, and they stay in place all night! Alice & Wonder is running out of sizes quickly, but J.Crew has a super similar one. And you can get up to 40% off right now!
And lastly, this velvet skirt. I mean, how darling is this?! I’m a sucker for wrap skirts and dresses anyway, so add pink velvet and I’m SOLD. I especially love that it feels like a festive and flirty party skirt without being too tight. Who actually feels comfortable in a body-con skirt anyway?!
Now, if this look isn’t your thing, don’t worry. I went shopping for you! According to my polls yesterday, most of you are staying in this NYE. And even if you aren’t, you’re still mostly looking for tops under $100. So, that’s exactly what I found! Let me show ya…
