Petite Friendly Items from Abercrombie
Check out my favorite petite friendly items from Abercrombie!
Abercrombie has been KILLING IT lately, so I placed a big order in anticipation of their spring sale in the LTK app. I was so impressed with everything I got, even the stuff I returned – and everything is still 25% off until end of day on April 18th. If you’re seeing this after that, don’t worry! They have sales all the time so you can definitely catch another one.
While the title of this post is geared towards my petite gals, the majority of these items come in regular and tall sizing, too. In other words, please don’t feel left out if you aren’t 5’2″ like me! There is still plenty for you to shop, I promise!
Petite Friendly Items from Abercrombie
YPB Henley Tank
I LOVE THIS TANK SO MUCH! Seriously it’s so good. The fabric, the fit, the colors, the snaps – I’m obsessed. I also love that they have pads so you don’t need to worry about a bra. And how cute is the black with jeans? I got a small.
YPB Bike Shorts
I’m not one of those gals who wears bike shorts for fashion, but this pair is cuuuute! Again, the fabric and fit are really impressive, especially for the price. I got a size small.
Strapless Midi Dress
This is definitely my favorite dress from my spring order. I got a petite xs and it seriously fits like a DREAM. It comes with detachable straps which is really nice, but I love the way it looks strapless. I plan on dressing this down with sandals in Italy and dressing it up with heels for events!
Open Back Dress
This mini dress is sold out but it comes in a maxi version too! I got a petite XS and the proportions were a little funny, so if I were trying the maxi, I’d probably go for a petite small instead. The open back detail is so pretty in person and I love the volume in the sleeves!
I’ve been on the hunt for a white spring jacket to bring to Italy and this one is so good! It’s perfectly lightweight and I love that it’s slightly cropped. I got a size small because I wanted to make sure I could layer underneath, but I definitely could have gotten away with an XS.
Looking for the perfect cropped tank? This is IT! It is seriously the ideal length to wear with high waisted jeans or shorts, and I love that it’s soft and light without being see through at all. I got a size small.
Twist Front Midi
If you’re in the market for a wedding guest dress, this midi is an awesome affordable option. It would also be great for a shower, rehearsal dinner, or any other summer event like that. I got a petite small and there was a little extra room but it was definitely the right size.
High Slit Midi Dress
This one keeps going in and out of stock – but if you see it in stock, it’s a great one to scoop up for wedding events! I got a petite small but I think I would have liked it better if I sized down to a petite XS to cinch in the waist a little bit more. The quality is really nice though and I love the slit!
Puff Sleeve Mini Dress
Okay how cute is this little dress?! Babydoll dresses like this can be overwhelming on petite frames, so I really appreciate that this one comes in sizing specifically for us! I got a petite XS.
I love a good active dress and this is a great one for petites. I love that it comes in a million colors and it has built in shorts. My only complaints are that there isn’t a built in bra and the fabric is lighter than I expected. I have a feeling that will be a pro instead of a con when it’s SUPER hot out but I prefer the fabric on my Ref active dress instead.
Smocked Midi Dress
Full disclosure – I don’t love this one on me, but I’m including it because it comes in petite sizing and it’s a great length! I got a petite xs and I’d say it runs true to size!
This seamless halter tank is such a great basic to have for summer. It’s cropped, but it doesn’t feel crazy with high waisted jeans, shorts, or skirts. I got a size small and it comes in a bunch of colors.
Oversized Button Up Shirt
Alright this shirt isn’t necessarily ideal for petites, but I’m including the link here because it looks cute with the seamless tank! I got an XS and it’s still very oversized, so just keep that in mind!
I looove these pants, and while they’re from last year, this new pair looks super similar! I got a regular small in my style since they were meant to be cropped, but if I were to get this year’s version, I would go for a small short.
I absolutely LOVE this bikini top – especially the wide straps and the structure. It’s all good! I got an XS, but a small probably would have been fine, too.
These bikini bottoms are definitely cheekier than I’m used to… but the cut is also SO flattering. I thought I was going to feel too “on display” in it on my trip. But I actually felt super confident the whole time. I sized up to a medium for a little extra room and I’m glad I did.
*This coverup isn’t from Abercrombie – but it is a really great affordable option!
This exact top is sold out, but this one is really similar – and doesn’t it remind you of something you would find at Reformation? I think so, too! I went with an XS and it feels a little snug as I’m putting it on – but once it’s on, it fits perfectly. Such a great wardrobe staple!
Knot Front Top
Hellooooo date night! My black top is sold out, but I looove this flutter sleeve version! I got an XS and it’s really cute with a super high waisted skirt or pair of jeans!
Again, this one is also from last year – but there are a ton of other smocked dresses available this year in both regular and petite sizing.
