The Best Pants For Chilly Fall Nights
Well friends, we have officially entered into the season of Chicago where the temperatures rise up and drop down without any rhyme or reason. One day there’s a high of 78, the next day there’s a high of 56! Or, of course, the days when it’s super mild until the sun goes down and then it’s freeeeezing. You know exactly what I’m talking about, right?!
If I’m being honest, I actually don’t mind this crazy weather. It’s kind of fun, and the bits of warmth remind me that we still have some time before winter comes ? But what is frustrating about it is the fact that it’s SO hard to dress for! Once October hits, it’s a little risky to wear a dress into the evening… but it’s too early for tights… and you know you’re going to be in jeans and boots for the next 5 months! Luckily, I discovered the perfect pants to wear to events, dinners, or drinks on nights exactly like this. And even though they aren’t technically petite palazzo pants, the fit is perfect for short gals like me!

I usually have a hard time with pants that aren’t jeans or yoga pants, because I have short legs, a small waist, and a big booty (it’s true!). A lot of trendy pants simply aren’t made for my body type – so when I saw these, I snagged them right away!
I love that the color and polka dots are really feminine and fun, but the style and fit still makes me feel really put together. And while I wore a crop top with this particular look, this would be so cute with a slim turtleneck or bodysuit, too!
Do you have any favorite polished outfits for this in-between weather?
