Real Outfits 1/20-1/25/2020
Happy Sunday, friends! I’ve been toying with doing a series like this for a while, but I wasn’t sure how interesting it would be since I mostly work from home. Sometimes my outfits aren’t that exciting – and I’ll be the first to admit that!
That being said, because I’m a practical shopper more than a true fashionista, I think this type of post might be a nice way to share more of what I’m wearing instead of relying solely on traditional “outfit posts”. I’ve noticed that you guys get a little bored of those posts, too 😉 I don’t blame you! Sometimes it’s more helpful to see what pieces bloggers keep coming back to vs. just super-stylized posts. So without further ado, here are outfits 1/20-1/25/2020, the real outfits I wore this week!
Real Outfits 1/20-1/25/2020
Monday 1/20/20
Sweater: Madewell (Mine is old, but I linked this year’s version! They used the same “coziest yarn” fabric which is SO soft – and it’s on sale!) | Jeans: J. Brand (This exact wash is old, but the Alana style in general is great for petites. I also found this pair on sale in a bunch of sizes!) | Slippers: Amazon

Tuesday 1/21/20
Sweater: c/o Everlane (You can see this one styled different ways in my Fall Capsule! To be completely honest, I’ll always love my pink one more, but this color also makes me very happy. Runs a little oversized!) | Jeans: Everlane (If you’re in between sizes, I’d recommend sizing up. Also, they feel snug when you first get them, but they will loosen up a little bit. Everlane has quickly won me over with their denim – sustainable and less than half the price of my J Brands? Yes please!)

Wednesday 1/22/20
Tank: Lululemon (LOVE this tank – the color, the fit, the fabric, all of it! I have the size 6 and it’s a little long/big, but it scrunches up nicely and I like having the extra room sometimes.) | Leggings: c/o Everlane (LOVE these leggings! Read all about them in this post!)
—
Thursday 1/23/20
Hoodie: Lou & Grey (Love the slightly cropped fit of this! SUPER soft and cozy and on sale right now!!) | Jeans: Everlane (If you’re in between sizes, I’d recommend sizing up. Also, they feel snug when you first get them, but they will loosen up a little bit!) | Boots: Koolaburra (Basically a less expensive version of Ugg boots that are perfect for cold snowy walks with Luna!)

Friday 1/24/20
Sweater: Loft (I got a size small so I could wear it with leggings and faux leather leggings. It’s VERY soft and cozy!) | Leggings: c/o Everlane (You can read all about them in this post!) | Slippers: Amazon | Mug: Year & Day

Saturday 1/25/20
Jacket: c/o One Third (This is from my friend Anna’s new company and it is GORGEOUS! It will be adorable as outerwear in the Spring, but I love it as a cute layering piece while it’s cold out right now. Runs TTS – I’m wearing the XS.) | Shirt: Gap (Mine is old, but I feel like their basics are pretty consistent from year to year.) | Jeans: Everlane (I have two pairs of Everlane’s button fly jeans because they are so freaking comfortable. Like all of their jeans, if you’re in between sizes, I’d recommend sizing up! Also, order the ankle length if you’re petite.) | Boots: Blondo (These booties are not only classic and comfortable – they’re also waterproof! It’s so nice to have a pair of booties that make me feel polished, while also not worrying about ruining them. Runs TTS!)

Love the outfit selections and Everlane denim recommendation. I am 5’1″ on a good day, so I think these will fit the bill nicely :). Where are the boots from in the Saturday 1/25 outfit?
