Photo Diary: A Few Hours in San Francisco
Okay I’m just going to admit this right off the bat: this is not a helpful post ? As much as I wish this was a guide to San Francisco, I only had about 3 hours to explore the whole city… which is not quite enough time to put together a guide for you. That being said, I loved exploring and these photos make me super happy – so why not share them with you?!
Since this was my first time in San Francisco, my first stop was the Painted Ladies. This colorful row of houses is just as charming and sweet as I imagined. Sure, there isn’t much to do around them, but seeing the iconic life-size dollhouses in person was pretty cool.
I then walked up and down (mostly up!) the hills of SF admiring the gorgeous houses, parks, and shops along the way. Let’s just say, I was NOT expecting those hills to be as much of a workout as they were – but the views from the top of each one were so worth it.
After a lot of walking, I finally made it to an adorable neighborhood that my friend recommended to me called Cow Hollow. This is definitely the fancy part of the city – chic boutiques, cute cafes, bright fitness studios, and… MATCHA LATTES! And not just any matcha lattes – matcha lattes from a local coffee shop with pineapple wall paper ? As soon as I walked past Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters, I knew I had to stop in. And after being up for way too many hours, it was the perfect pick me up.
Have you been to San Francisco?
I’m already dying to go back and explore more. What are your favorite things about this cute city?!

Great pictures! Did you take them using the Sony a6000?

No, these were actually with my new Canon 6D – I got excited about giving it a try haha! I think I’m going to do a review of my Sony A6000 soon though. It seems like a lot of people are interested in a small travel camera!
