Happy Tuesday! This week has already been a little strange… for example, I woke up yesterday and walked to a 7am Flywheel class IN THE SNOW. I then got myself all layered up for the Cubs Home Opener, only to have it cancelled – again, because who wants to watch/play baseball in the snow in April?? So, we got lunch with some friends, attempted to get back into work mode, and rearranged my schedule so I could go to the game today instead. I guess you could say my schedule is just a little thrown off ?

For example, I can get a cute new straw bag for summer, but I can also stock up on my favorite jeans! Seriously though, if you’re petite, the J Brand Alana style is my all time favorite. The length is perfect on us shorties, and the high waist is super flattering. And since we probably have a lot more cold weather heading our way, now is a great time to snag a Rails shirt on sale, too. I know they’re a little pricey, but I got mine years ago and it’s still in amazing condition because the quality is so good. And I get compliments every time I wear it!
But of course, I get it. It’s April, you’re over winter clothes! Let’s move on to spring and summer! First of all, I couldn’t recommend this Free People Maxi more. If you thought it was cute in this blog post, do yourself a favor and snag it on sale now because it won’t last long. I’m personally thinking about getting a pair of jean shorts and high waisted tie shorts for summer. And, I know there aren’t a lot of opportunities to wear a white dress (calling all brides!), but I’m completely in love with this backless flutter sleeve number. Oh, and this sparkly one, too.
