National Margarita Day: Spicy Mango & Peach Viniq Marg
Happy National Margarita Day!! I know all of the National Food Days are silly (Where did they come from? Who made them up?), buuut when it leads to an excuse for margaritas on a Monday, are any of you really complaining? Yea, I didn’t think you would 🙂
This particular one is made with mango and habanero infused tequila and Viniq Glow for a bright, fruity and crisp margarita. Whether you like it shaken or blended, you’re going to LOVE this drink. Here’s how you make it!
Ingredients
Â
Infused Tequila
1.5 cups tequila
1 mango
1/2 habanero
One Margarita
1.5 oz infused tequila
2 oz of Viniq Glow
2.5 oz margarita mix (I used Powell & Mahoney‘s skinny mix)
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
Cut the mango and peel it into a container. Add half of a habanero pepper and 1.5 cups of tequila. Cover and store in the refrigerator. After 48 hours, strain the mango and habanero.
Now it’s time to bust out those margarita glasses!
Add 1.5 oz of tequila, 2 oz of Viniq Glow, 2.5 oz margarita mix and 1/2 oz fresh lime juice to a cold cocktail shaker.
Shake it up and pour!
Garnish with a pretty slice of lime!
You can also blend it up with a little ice for a slushier version of the cocktail. I also think this would be great over crushed ice, if you have that available to you!
Isn’t this the best holiday??
Cheers!
