Whether you’re acknowledging St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th at home with your friends/family, or you plan on partying with the rest of Chicago on March 14th, the celebrations are quickly approaching!
 
To be honest, I’ve never been a huge fan of traditional Irish food – my Mom made corned beef and cabbage every St. Patricks Day growing up and it never did it for me. (And now I don’t eat beef at all! ?) But after visiting Ireland a few years ago, I fell in love with the city of Dublin, but more than that – the PEOPLE there are the best. It made me feel more connected to my Irish roots (I know I look more Italian, but I’m both!).
 
So while I might not be your go-to gal for a traditional Irish stew, I can certainly help you with fun party desserts, side dishes, and other recipes for St. Patrick’s Day! Let’s dive in!

Irish Cream Tiramisu

I made this recipe YEARS ago, and even though I should maybe update it/reshoot, it’s a GREAT recipe for anyone who loves Irish cream. It’s light but comforting, it’s easier to make than you’d think, and it has the perfect little hint of booze for a holiday like this ? I also love that it incorporates both the Irish and Italian in me. The best of both worlds!

I loooove Irish coffee. It’s cozy and warm and sweet and boozy… with a little kick, because why not?! I love this particular recipe because you can control how sweet and boozy you want it to be, instead of relying on a restaurant or bar to get it right. Sometimes they can be a little rich! Plus, this one uses maple syrup instead of sugar, which is such a nice touch. YUM!
