My Ultimate Summer Cooler Packing List with Whole Foods Market
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Whole Foods Market for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
Summer is here and that means it’s time for picnics, outdoor concerts, boat rides… basically all the fun outdoor activities! And if you’re going to be outside all day, you definitely need a cooler full of goodies, right?!
Luckily, Whole Foods Market agrees with me. They even asked me to pull together my Ultimate Summer Cooler Packing List for all of you! If you keep scrolling, you’ll see how I packed my new Whole Foods Market cooler with my year-round favorites, as well as seasonal produce that I can’t get enough of over the summer. Helllooooo cherries!
I know this post is heavily centered around food, but packing a cooler and enjoying time outside with loved ones is about so much more than groceries. Taking the time to pack quality food, slow down, and enjoy being outside with your favorite people is SO important. We are all so busy all the time, that those moments in the grass with the sun shining and fresh watermelon are oh so sweet for so many reasons. I encourage each and every one of you to make time for a few of those moments this summer, because it’s just the best. But back to the food!
Ultimate Summer Cooler Packing List #CoolerGoals:
Waterloo Watermelon Sparkling Water
Essentia Water
Whole Foods Spinach and Orzo Salad
Whole Foods Sonoma Chicken Salad
Cherries
Watermelon
Carrots
Whole Foods Hummus
Olives
Kerrygold Cheddar Cheese
Whole Foods Wheat Crackers
Whole Foods Rice Crackers
Trail Mix
As you can see from my list, the prepared foods section of Whole Foods is your friend! The Sonoma Chicken Salad is a crowd pleaser, but I personally love the Spinach and Orzo Salad the best. It’s SO good! Plus, I’m also a sucker for marinated olives, so I threw those in, too.
And while I’m totally a proponent for filling up reusable water bottles, it’s nice to have a backup when you’re going to be outside all day long. For that purpose, Essentia Water is the BEST. I know, I know – it seems silly to say that one water tastes better than the other, but this ionized alkaline water actually does. I know, crazy.
And of course, who can resist watermelon in the summer? NOT ME! I’ve even taken my obsession past the fresh fruit, because my new favorite sparkling water is Waterloo’s watermelon flavor. Plus, it doesn’t have any calories, sugar or sodium! WIN! This list is for a pretty tame afternoon, but if you’re packing a cooler for a party, this sparkling water would be great with a splash of vodka ?
What do you pack in your cooler over the summer?
Did I miss any favorites?! I’d love to know what your go-to items are!
