Summer Party Sangria
I hope you all enjoyed yesterday’s Bachelorette Party post, and as promised, today is all about the summer sangria I made! I planned on making some sort of sangria from the moment I decided to host the party. It’s not only my favorite summertime drink, but it’s also easy to make for a big group. Plus, who doesn’t like sangria? If you don’t, then I don’t understand you.
Since this was for a bachelorette party, I definitely had to make sure there was some zing in there. I had to play around with it, but I think I ended up with a pretty delicious outcome.
Here’s how you make it!
Ingredients
3 bottles of Pinot Grigio
1 1/2 cups of Vodka
1 lemon, sliced
2 apples, chopped into small pieces
1 bag (16oz) frozen peaches
1/2 carton of strawberries, quartered
5-6 cups of 7Up/Sprite

It’s best if you start this recipe the night before you plan to serve it.
Slice a lemon. Keep it in slices, because you will want to pull them out later.
Chop two apples into small pieces.
Add a bag of frozen peaches. I cut a few of the larger pieces in half before adding them.
And add the wine! Oh yeaaaa.
Add one cup of the vodka.
Stir it all together before putting in the fridge.
Chill overnight.
The next day, before serving, take the lemons out and add the other half cup of vodka and strawberries. Then it’s time for the 7Up/Spite or other lemon lime soda. You don’t add this until the last minute so your sangria doesn’t go flat.
Stir it all together! Add more soda or vodka, depending on what kind of night you’re in for…
And serve!

Baha I love that cup. And I would love to try this sometime! I've been much more a white wine fan lately and wine + fruit is always a good combination!
