Sunday Spotlight 3
Happy Sunday, friends! Did anyone else feel like this was a really long week? I can’t complain though – I got to take a break to get a dirty martini at Club Lucky on Thursday… and it was HEAVEN. I’m definitely still skeptical of some patios opening, but I was really impressed with all of their precautions. Each table was more than 6ft way from each other, their whole staff had masks on the whole time, and it’s on a residential street so the sidewalks around the restaurant didn’t feel crowded. Plus, they make a MEAN dirty martini. Yummmmm ?

Can you believe the SCOTUS decision to legalize gay marriage was only 5 years ago?!
This still makes me teary when I read it: “No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family. In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than once they were. It would misunderstand these men and women to say they disrespect the idea of marriage. Their plea is that they do respect it, respect it so deeply that they seek to find its fulfillment for themselves. Their hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization’s oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right.” My heart!
The cutest makeup tutorial I’ve ever seen!
Friday’s episode of The Daily called “A Dilemma in Texas” was all about how the coronavirus got out of hand in Texas. Super interesting.

I ordered this bikini top from the Everyday Pursuits collection and the fit is AMAZING, but I kind of want it in a bright color instead of leopard. I’m leaning towards fuchsia pink… thoughts?!
