First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of the kind words about our new home!!! We are so beyond grateful that everything worked out with the closing, painting, and packing these past few days and the comments and messages from you have been incredible. We feel so lucky to have such an amazing community supporting us through this crazy year. Of course we wish we could safely get married with the people we love around us, but we feel so fortunate that we can still move forward with this next phase of our lives together. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Also, if you owe anything to Ruth Bader Ginsburg (which is pretty much all of us), please honor her by signing this petition urging the senate not to fill her seat until after the 2021 inauguration. You can also call your senators, too! I know I usually preface everything by saying we all have a right to our own political opinion, but I urge you to think about everything that was said in 2016 about replacing a Supreme Court Justice in an election year. In addition to that, please consider how many lives would be affected if Trump is able to appoint another justice. This is an extremely big deal for women’s rights, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, sensible gun laws, racial equality, our climate, and more. Please think about those that are scared right now, whether or not you think you will personally be affected or not ❤️
